Pros: Pioneer quality, FM reception, clean interface, lights are not distracting, wireless remote. Cons: Won't recognize some of my CD's I burnt.
Put it into my Civic a couple weeks ago, the interface is excellent and does not feel cluttered with buttons. Low and high pass filters are a great feature and I love the auxiliary input, allowing me to use my MP3 player without having to pay the extra ...

Pros: Less auto-moving parts less likely to break easily. Big Bang for the Buck! Cons: Impossible to read the display in the daytime.
I had this Pioneer installed in my Civic just last week to replace my malfunctioned high K*wood with D-Mask feature that I bought in 2002. My K*wood's mechanical parts that flip open and close the face had broken 5 times since I've owned it. Thanks to ...

Great Beginner Headunit!
by zeenyc ,Nov 25 '07
Pros: adjustable EQ on custom mode, handy remote, sub out puts, simple useage. Cons: Dust in faceplate/screen
Fairly low price and great for the beginner to the car audio scene. One of the 1st headunits I purchased and def. no complaints from me overall! remote, 6 station presets, MP3 CD/Data CD readability. Canty go wrong with the 4800.

perfect boat head unit
by tejastoolman ,May 17 '07
Pros: flat out bangin head unit for the price! Cons: AA batt 4 remote instead of the button battery which doesn't like Texas summers.
I was pretty skeptical at first but you know how pioneer quality is, best of the best. I run two 15's & four 6.5's using a two amp set up and this head unit astonishes me. Even in rough water, no skips or jogs during play. Going on year 2 with it in my boat using it every weekend from March thru December with no complaints. The CD's I burn with Nero play every time so I'm happier going on season 3 next year :)

Great Player
by ljkbuyer ,Mar 03 '06
Pros: Great sound for the bucks. Cons: Misprint in owner's manual. Check web site to set clock.
Excellent CD player and FM tuner. Incredible sound and has all the bells and whistles for the $$. Easy to install fits well with my 㥪 Ford Explorer. This is a replacement for my factory installed system.

Great CD MP3/WMA Player under $200!
by ewharper ,May 10 '06
Pros: 22 Watts power, Pioneer name, MP3/WMA readable Cons: Too many features for the novice, no dot matrix display.
I've have this for about 2 months now. This little guy has all the features of his bigger brothers. In fact it took me about 3 days to "fine tune" this to my system to get it sounding the best.
22 Watts RMS power, 3 pre-amp outs, 2 external inputs, Ipod ready, subwoofer control, high pass filters, MP3/WMA, 16 digit readout all combine to make a fine addition to any car system.

Just radio rocks! Can not ask for more... Love the quality. It does everything from AM/FM/CD/MP3, and a remote control!
