I just purchased this recorder...

I just purchased this recorder for $900 and I couldn't be happier with it. Quality is great, very easy to edit and erase the RW discs, all features work great, and I'd recommend this unit to anyone. Nothing beats recording on a DVD. It definitely makes a VCR a thing of the past.

The unit is of high quality and is easy to use. Editing is easy and you can remove all items from any video such as commercials or unwanted scenes. The recording media is cheap dvd-r as low as .85 in bulk and dvd-rw 1.15. The downside is the cost of the machine and the fact that dvd-rw will not play in most dvd players.
