Pros: 13-band microphone-based AUTO-EQUALIZER, digital audio-compression integrated XMradio, subwoofer control, 1-4 passenger phase-compensation

the best car stereo under a grand

Pros: By far the best car stereo for the money.
Cons: Nearly double the cost of a high end single din unit, but worth it.
I have had quite a few car stereos over the years, Sony (Japanese for CD skips a lot), Blaupunkt (German for Blue crap), and so on, but none have been all that great. Each had it's short comings, and none really sounded all that great compared to a good ...
