I got this at CES, so far this thing rocks, I've been using it way more then I ever used my Skifi2.

The accessories that I'd recommend one gets are

1. Clip Antenna (which comes with Delphi's Myfi) and/or the headset w/ Antenna

2. Some speakers, the Altec Lansing XM3020's rock.

I've told several people about this unit, and so far they are amazed at everything it does.

I've been using it at night, it has a sleep timer that I put on the same time as my clock radio, also the alarm, so I go to sleep & wake up with XM.

The only downside that I've noticed with it so far is one can't rewind the content like the skyfi 2, also one can't delete the content that they don't want in the buffer (some think it is due to the RIAA).

But overall it is a solid unit, that is definitely worth it. Especially considering that for the price it includes all the kits.

I'd been waiting for the XM web site to start offering the Pioneer on the cheap to DirecTV subscribers, Christmas came early last week, $99 even for the stylish Airware. Love it! Had it 3 days, use it when I walk the dogs, use it in the car, use it when mowing the lawn, use it whenever. Reception has been excellent, some inexplicable interruptions (in the car in open areas) but works 99.9% of the time. Not big on underpasses although it does seem to work in them sometimes. Reception when out in the open (walking) is excellent, your body doesn't seem to hide the signal no matter which direction you walk in. I've used the Airware in both our cars, without the car antenna installed, located it on the dashboard, held in place by one of those non-sticky gripper pads, works great. I was pleasantly surprised how far it worked into the house without the home antenna installed. Buy one, you won't be disappointed, unless you live in a closet, in the middle of a dense forest. I'll be taking it on a trip to CA shortly....can you get XM on a plane???

I just received this as a gift and I had looked at them before but didn't have the extra cash to spend. It is well thought out and is very easy to use. One of the great things about this is the fact that it comes with sooo many accessories. Various mounts and holders as well as two different belt clips and antennas (in addition to the built -in antenna). The sound is great and the battery seems to last forever. The dial on the side lets you scroll through the various stations and select a station by pressing the wheel. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an XM radio that has all of the features as well as the attachments. One of the best and most thoughtful gifts I have ever received.

i got it from the xm website. after 5 days, it lost all memory and i have to manually add the stations else i only get channel 0. also, the time was set to 12:00 and the screen and sound settings were reset. i have a defective unit and i have to send it back. otherwise its a nice, but bulky product.

Cons: The button controls are sort of sticky, can be tough to operate while driving.

Overall I like this unit. It is my first ever satellite radio and I chose it because it is the portable version with built in satellite antenna. With the right weather, you can put this thing into your pocket, take a walk through town and still get some nice commercial free radio to keep your walk enjoyable.

The unit is a bit clunky, but manageable. The earphones fit nicely, if my ears anyway, and the accessories for antennas and power options for the car are nice. I would recommend this product to another fellow satellite radio consumer. I love the option to save songs and then be notified when they appear on ANY other channel, even if you aren't listening to that one. One click and your favorite songs are on.

I purchased the XM2Go with full awareness of it's technological drawbacks. The fact that satellite requires unobstructed line of sight for the receiver to "see" the satellite makes indoor use limited. However, I purchased the XM2Go with the desire to use it while riding my bike, walking, or other outdoor leisure activities.

I am disappointed with the signal loss that occurs while using it outdoors with the earbuds. It can be very annoying when you change direction and have to move the player to the other side of your body to reaquire the signal.

Pros: Very sleek looking and easy to use.
Cons: Scratches easily.

I bought this unit because I thought it looked very sleek. Found the glass will scratch very easily with a very light rub. I would not purchase this unit if I know what I know today.

Cons: The fm modulator only lets you choose from 88.1 - 88.9 or 106.7 - 107.9.

I bought this item from peopleswireless a retailer on ebay - for HALF of what it would have cost me anywhere in Canada. The kit is complete with every home, car, and portable accessory ever invented! When I got it out of the box, I put in the home docking station and heard the preview channel right away. Then I went to xm.ca to register. The activation was complete in 5 minutes tops. Ever since then is has been smooth sailing. I did not install it in a vehicle yet, but I use it in my work van with the fm modulator daily .

I bought this radio about a year ago. I also have XM in my car. It cost just over $300 when I purchased it, but now cost about half this amount. There is a new generation presently available. This radio can be used in both the home and automobile. I primarily use it in the house. I bought this radio because I wanted to be able to listen to talk radio during my daily walks without it fading in and out. Unfortunately, the radio has not served its intended purpose. The radio works well, if you have it in a stationary position. However, if your intended purpose is not to use it in a stationary position, you might want to consider other options. You will get poor reception if you try to use the radio while moving except in an automobile. It has a recording feature, but it is difficult to understand.
