Pros: One button does everything, light, long battery life Cons: Piece that goes in ear takes some getting used to, can't pair with 2 devices
This is my second bluetooth headset. My first the removable earloops all broke and I decided to replace the entire headset after looking everywhere for the earloops. I must say that this headset so far is a huge improvement. I decided on this ...
Pros: durable, light, good battery life, comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, small and forgettable while talking Cons: too loud on low volume sometimes, can't handle very noisy environments, somewhat complex controls
Past Experience I used to have those corded ear bud hands free earpieces with my old Nokia, Motorola, and Kyocera phones. Product The diminutive ear piece comes with a charging cable that has a button-sized power connector with a slim ...
Pros: Inexpensive, good voice quality and simple to use Cons: Non-user replaceable battery and not so good with voice dialing
This is my review on the Plantronics Explorer 320 Bluetooth Wireless Headset. In order to comply with the new law about cell phone use and driving, I bought this Bluetooth headset to use with my new cell phone. Except for minor glitches, the headset is ...
Pros: Light, Comfortable, Great Range, Battery life, Not Gaudy. Cons: I said I'd never get one of these things !
When these things first came out, I told myself that they would have to be a lot smaller in order to consider buying one. At that time, and up until just recently... I thought those people walking around with them in their ears looked just plain ...
Pros: Easy setup, good value, simple design Cons: Buzzing in users ear, heavy after long periods
I purchased this while out of town on business to go with my new bluetooth phone 5 days ago. The price was $49.99 at Fry's Electronics in the Chicago area. The battery has a little charge from the factory so I had it configured and working in under 3 ...
Pros: light weight; good battery life; quick connectability Cons: Silicon rubber loop holding device to ear disintegrated after 1 year
Anyone who has ever owned a cellphone knows that having an extended conversation on one, especially if you're walking around, is awkward. If you find yourself doing this regularly, you might end up looking like one of those characters on the old British ...
After learning that my trusty plug-in earpiece was not compatible with my new cell phone, I decided to join the legion of Bluetooth headset wearers out there. This piece of equipment advertises itself as a "hands free" device, but I have found that I ...
Pros: Price, volume, easy to use. Cons: None as of yet....
Just purchased it and am very happy, easy to set up, good volume (better than my old Motorola 850). Good clarity and voice pick-up. For the price it can not be beat.
I have to say I love my 320. It was very easy to pair with Sanyo Katana. The 320's single button controls are a breeze to use (Better than most on the market today). The call quality is superb, maybe even better than the handset. The 320 is also very comfortable to wear for longer periods of time. Overall I would recommend this to anyone wanting an easy to use Bluetooth headset.
Works Great and easy to use by clintsnakeman ,Dec 14 '06
Pros: Works flawlessly Cons: Picks up too much sound around the device.
My Plantronics 320 has works flawlessly and connects without any proplem to my cell phone. The only negative is the microphone picks up any noises around, i.e. someone in the backseat or the A/C blowing towards the mouth piece.
Lots of static, looses bond often by hd883chopper ,Jun 20 '06
Pros: Light, easy to use, long battery life, low priced Cons: lots of static, looses bond with phone
This is my first blue tooth headset. I think its very comfortable and easy to use but the static is annoying. I get static most of the time using it but not always. If I hold the phone up to the earpiece, it goes away...but that defeats the purpose of hands free! It also looses its bond with my Motorola V557 quite often. Not sure if another headset would be much better or not. I'm disappointed.
I first purchased this headset after reading decent reviews here and other places on line. I thought that for the price, I would receive a decent working Plantronics Headset.
****Boy was I wrong.****
I have had this headset for over 2 months now and haven't been that impressed with it. People on the other end of the line can hear me just fine, but even when I use it with my phone (Motorola E815) on the same side of my body (2-3 feet distance), I hear the worst static. Range on this puppy is decent at 10-15 feet, but outside of that, forget it.
It is good that other people can hear me clear, but it doesn't do *ME* any good if every other word that is spoken to me is full of static in the reception. I have a very cheap headset (Jabra BT130) that works better than this one. I just ordered the Plantronics Voyager 510, and am hoping that this headset will be better than the Explorer 320. Honestly, I don't think that *ANY* other BT headset could be worse than the Explorer 320.
I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Plantronics Voyager 510.
Echos on the other end by joes_epinion ,Jul 22 '06
Pros: Comfortable, reasonable price, easy to use, decent sound quality. Cons: Callers hear their own voice as if in an echo chamber.
Purchased at Fry's Electronics. Unit was comfortable. Process of pairing with my Samsung A950 was easy enough. Reception sound quality was adequate, but not great... some static. However, callers on the other end would hear their own voice echoing back to them. When callers started telling me, "are you using that headset again? Take it off!," I figured it was time to give it back to Fry's before I lost my 30-day return option.
Fell apart on me literally... then died - 1 day after warranty expired by hexen123 ,May 10 '06
Pros: Relatively Cheap - get what you pay for I guess Cons: Cheap, breaks easily, not very good reception.
Very cheaply made (like most of these devices). The thing that holds onto your ear broke first. I glued the pin back into the plastic. Secondly the ear piece would get stuck in my ear and would pop off the unit. I glued that down as well. Finally it fell from about 3 feet off the ground and has not worked since. This happened about 10 days after the warranty ran out... which by the way is only 90 days for this unit. Clarity was not very good when it was working but I think this is a general issue with many of these devices.
