Pros: Generally great stereo sound and speech transmission. Controls easy to use. Cons: More sound skip than I expected due to bluetooth signal interruption
I own other Plantronics Headsets and believe they offer a good product. I was in need of a bluetooth stereo headset for my cellphone and Ipod and the 855 seemed to fill that need. Purchased the first week of November 08. By February 09 it had been replaced three times. The unit does not seem to be able to last in the real world. I walk not run several miles everyday so it is not treated roughly. The 855 is supplied with 2 sizes of earhook for mono use but the stereo earbud cable earhook comes in one size. It did not stay in place and kept rotating down especially when you get sweaty. The failures were microphone failed, failed to take a charge and loose connection with the stereo earbud cable earhook.
