I have a daughter with severe special needs and we are always looking for toys she can play with. Unless I want to get another job to afford the very expensive specialty equipment, I have to work with what's out there for regular kids. Play doh is always a good bet, as it encourages her to use her hands and is great for kids with tactile sensitivity. And scented? Stimulates yet another sense and as she is also blind, it makes working with play doh more rewarding. Yes, it is a little more expensive but when your talking about an $8,000.00 swing (with only one swing on it) or a couple of extra bucks for scented play doh - I'm happy spending a couple of extra bucks! And her younger brother loves play doh so they finally have something they really can do together!
