Pros: keep drinks cool, flip up straw, easy to clean Cons: little pricey
Keeping kids drinks cool in the summer has always been a challenge, but Playtex has come up with the solution to this problem. The Cool Straw Bottle is a wonderful addition to any child's cabinet of accessories. I first purchased the Cool Straw Bottle...
Pros: no leaks if used correctly, appeals to water-hating kids, easy to use Cons: leaks if left open and on side
My kids seem to have a serious aversion to drinking plain old water. As a mom, it's my job to have plenty of tricks in my bag for getting this essential liquid into them. My newest "tool"? The Playtex CoolStraw.
Pros: Insulated, Leak-proof, Child-Proof, Appealing to toddler Cons: Dribbles if left open
This generation of parents has been graced by the advent of spill-proof cups that actually work. There comes a time in the young toddler's life when he or she asserts the proclamation "I am a BIG Boy/Girl" respectively. Since they are now...
Pros: Wonderful cup--fun colors, leak-proof, and it's fun to use!! Cons: None
I will start by saying that the Playtex CoolStraw bottle is a VERY COOL BOTTLE!! My daughter has a few of the very similar Playtex QuickStraw bottles, but I have found that the CoolStraw keeps drinks colder for longer and there is no "sweat" whatsoever ...
Pros: Fun to use, won't leak, insulated to keep drinks cold! Cons: None!

Pros: Holds 12 oz, bright colors, fits in cup holder in car, insulated Cons: Leaks
The Playtex CoolStraw bottle is much like a sports bottle, and very similar to the Quick Straw Bottle. But it leaks!! Yes, it does better when the spout is closed. But when my daughter(3 years old)uses it in her car seat, she gets her seat wet every...
Pros: Keeps beverages colder; holds more liquid; doesn't sweat; fun to use Cons: Leaks
I have been using the Playtex Quickstraw for my 2 year old thirsty daughter on our outings. In the summer we needed to keep her water colder, so I purchased the Playtex Coolstraw Bottle having been somewhat satisfied with it's very similar sibling....
Quick Straw - Insulated LEAKS by acme1999y ,Jun 07 '05
Pros: Bottle and cap actually come in matching colors!! Cons: LEAKS, LEAKS, LEAKS! Smaller amount of liquid inside.
Compared to the non-insulated Playtex bottles, this one has a bad habit of leaking and it's got a smaller capacity inside. The regular Quick Straw bottles are 12 ounces and wonderful for anytime in the car, etc. These are terrible with 8 oz. Doesn't insulate much better than the other ones. Bought 4, at different stores and times, and NO SUCCESS in NOT leaking!!!
