    Feb 22, 2001 by
    Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros: Easy To Clean, Durable & Sturdy, Different Stages Of Nipples
    Cons: Doesn't Work As Promised

Summary: It's inevitable, if your baby drinks from a bottle, she is going to take in a substantial amount of air. That air will turn into gas, and in turn you will have a very fussy and gassy baby. My daughter doesn't just drink her bottles, she guzzles ... read more

    Pros: Easy to clean
Cons: Leak all the time! Difficult to use with powder formula due to the angle

Pros: Easy to clean, doesn't cause gas
Cons: Have had a few spills due to failing to put in the silicone saucer in

Summary: I started giving my baby this bottle around 5 weeks of age. He is now 11 months old, and we continue to use Playtex Ventair. It was really a combination of trial and error and word of mouth that led us to choose this as our bottle of choice. Avent ... read more

    Feb 10, 2006 by
    Rated a Helpful Review
Pros: Bottle contour, pretty color choices for the bottles, available at almost every store
Cons: Too many pieces to clean, baby took 2 weeks to get used to nipple

Summary: To start off, my baby had a hard time getting any milk thru the somewhat large/hard nipple. Had to go out and get Avent bottles, which she loved, but we, well, disliked, because they LEAK! After about two weeks, she got used to the Vent Aire nipples ... read more

  • Better look for other bottles

    Oct 23, 2004 by

    Pros: None really.
Cons: Low Quality, Leaks, Many parts to clean, doesn't worth the money.

Summary: When my twins were born, I just kept buying things that could make their first months as easy as possible. One of these things was the VentAire bottle system. Overall I bought 15 of these bottles (9 6oz and 6 8oz)along with spare nipples so I will have ... read more

  • Best Bottle on the Market!!!!!!

    Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros: Ease of cleaning, NO gas & happy baby,
Cons: A little more time for cleaning than a traditional bottle

Summary: I originally registered for (and received) the avent bottles. They were horrible because they leaked (you can't over tighten or under tighten and all sorts of other finicky things) and they also left my baby with lots of gas where he would cry violently. ... read more

  • Playtex VentAire Bottle- Pretty colors

    Oct 24, 2003 by
    Rated a Very Helpful Review
    Pros: Pretty colors
Cons: Price, too many pieces, don't prevent gas

Summary: Before I had my daughter, I read everything in sight. The one thing I remember most is that babies aren't supposed to take in too much air while feeding or they will get gasey. In turn, it is possible to have a very fussy baby because of the bottle. ... read more

  • Worst bottles I have ever used!!!

    Jun 5, 2003 by
    Rated a Helpful Review
Pros: Nice looking bottles, angled bottle makes them easy to handle, easy to clean
Cons: Too many parts, vent rarely opens, bottles hardly ever work correctly

Summary: These bottles are not worth the hassle or the price. The bottles have a silicone vent on the bottom that is supposed to open when the baby sucks to allow air in, so that the baby doesn't take in air bubbles through the nipple. The vent is seated inside ... read more
