Pikachu Pokemon Keychain!

by tiffer0220 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 200, Oct 09 '01
Pros: It's pokemon!
Cons: The poke ball is not attached to the chain.
If you have ever browsed in the pokemon toy section at any toy store or toy department, chances are you have seen these Pokemon Keychains hanging from the shelves. These keychains have been around for a good 15 months or so, and that is only...

Help me, please? - Pokemon Keychain

by bodashe Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Jan 02 '01
Pros: It's pretty well made.
Cons: It's in my house.
I’m going to speak on a very difficult subject for some: Pokemon. What is Pokemon you ask? Pokemon is a global phenomenon that has infiltrated nearly every aspect of American life.

Pokemon on the television.

by mattjoe Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 100, Mar 23 '00
Pros: Held my keys real good!
Cons: Friends kids liked it so I gave it to them. and now people are claiming Pokemon is the Devil!
Ok, so not anymore, but he once did.My friends' kids happen to be big Pokemon fans so I had this keychain and they loved it, so guess who has it now?
Not me, they do.
But I can still review it anyway.

This is a keychain with the...

Catch 'Em All, Take 'Em Everywhere

by zobovor Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Mar 04 '00
Pros: nifty spring-action Poké Ball gimmick, cute characters
Cons: cheaply made, way expensive for what you get
Keychains are all the rage at the moment. There are WWF keychains, G.I. Joe keychains, Barbie keychains... it's a fad. It seems only natural, then, to combine two great tastes that taste great together to produce the Pokémon keychain.

The...

by xDestiny , Jan 31 '00
Pros: Pokemon

My little nephew is a serious Pokemon fanatic, He has all the games, cards and clothes, So naturally he wanted the new keychains too.Personally I can't understand why...They were poorly made, The pokemon characters themselves are not painted quite...

Keychain.. I choose you!!!

by sdgirl , Jun 01 '00
Pros: Price is reasonable and toy is durable
Cons: Nothing I can think of
Hello! If you are a pikachu fan, this toy is a must. First of all, it is a keychain so you can take it about anywhere. Second of all, it gives a little different feeling to those stuffed animal keychains. This one acutally has a Pokemon inside the...

Poke a Joke

by tkelly456 , Jan 22 '00
Pros: Holds keys
Cons: Does nothing for kids who don't use keys
Four dollars for a key chain? My kid doesn't even have keys to put on the thing, but he wants it, just because it's "POKEMON". More like poke my money and take what you want, whatever you say, we parents pay. Is anyone going to wise up and just...

by wampyrii , Nov 04 '00
Pros: see review
Cons: see review
The makers of Pokemon have found yet another way to get you to part with your hard earned cash in the form of this - the pokemon keychain. So is it any good?

Well its a...erm..um...keychain...

Not to Sturdy

by kskiki , Jan 11 '00
Pros: cute looking, cheap price
Cons: not put together well
We bought the pokemon keychain in the pokeball today. Even though it was only $1.99 I did expect it to be a bit more sturdy. The chain links are only half put together. We had to clip them all together with pliers once we got home. The pokeball doesnt...

Gotta lock them all???

by WildZoe8 , Jun 13 '00
Pros: small, inexpensive, durable, useful
Cons: easy for other kids to take and fight over
These keychains were the first symptom of poke mania my family fell victim to. Even my husband fell victim to the craze, soon he was worse than our kids! They had moved on to trading cards, figurines, board games, and clothes. He was after all of...

Gotta catch um on Bookbags.

by MrsBunnyLady , Mar 19 '00
Pros: Little pricey at regular retail of $4.99 but discounters may have for less.
Cons: They aren't banned at schools yet but still can cause trading nightmares.
Pokeman cards may be banned at Elementary schools but backpack collections of keychains are not. Since she has a POKEMON backpack..she had to have a POKEMON keychain or two.

I really don't mind and we were able to get ours at a discounter...

pokemon mania

by nixpix66 , Jan 18 '00
Pros: Gives children the opportunity to play with t.v. characters
Cons: keychain part should be detachable
I feel this toy is very good. It gives children the opportunity to play with all of their favorite television characters. The Pokeballs, are just like that on t.v., therefore, the children are able to emerse themselves into play, as if they were Ash,...

Pikachu aint no Mickey Mouse

by danielius , Mar 26 '01
Pros: fun looking, practical
Cons: cheaply made
Why DO kids love Pikachu so? I can't see the attraction myself. Not in the cartoons, certainly not in the cards and not in much of the shoddily produced merchandise either.

That much said, the Pokemon keychain does have its uses and it isn't...
