Pros: Instant positive results when used properly. Cons: None that I can think of.
Summary: Well let me start out by saying that I absolutely love this thing. I have been an Avid road cyclist for about 2 years now and I had never thought of using an HRM until 2 months ago when I got the F6. The reason why I decided to get an HRM was because I ... read more

Pros: Large display; Lots of functions but none that seem unnecessary; Attractive design; comfortable; Waterproof Cons: Have to send in to replace batteries. Maybe a jeweler? Learning the functions.
Summary: I've had my Polar F6 Heart rate monitor for two months now. I disagree with some reviews that the watch is ugly. I've gotten compliments on mine. (green) I admit it is not meant to be worn to a formal event, but why would you want to? It is what it is..a ... read more

Pros: The best monitor on the market if you do cardio at the gym. Cons: very minor quibble: not so easy to change weight.
Summary: The Polar F6 is the heart rate monitor of choice if you do your cardio workouts at a gym. This monitor is very simple to setup and use. It will log your average heart rate and maximum heart rate for a given workout, as well as the time you spend "in ... read more

Pros: Seems like a sturdy, reliable watch so far. All the features, then some. Everything's comfortable. Cons: Pretty sure it's overestimating the intensity of my workout.
Summary: I just got this Polar F6 HRM after reading rave reviews from way too many people on the fitness website I belong to. I cannot comment on durability as I've had it for 2 days. This review details my experience with setting up the functions and using it ... read more

Pros: -Durable
-Water resistance
-Easy to learn and use
-Great warranty from company
-Good customer service Cons: -Doesn't look like a $100 watch, but it performs like one!
Summary: I've had this HRM for over 6 months and it has a ton of features. I have never had a problem with crosstalk, as the chest strap is coded. It is a great overall fitness HRM and the chest strap that comes with it can be used with many other Polar ... read more

Pros: Great information, good training assist. Cons: Be nice if 'beep' was louder, Be nice if the manual was a little clearer.
Summary: I don't usually rave about technology, but in this case, it's pretty amazing. The PolarF11 tracks your workouts for time and heart rates, and it will give you a 'fit test' and build a workout regime for you - or allow you to build it yourself. If you ... read more

Pros: Tons of features, comfortable to wear chest strap, great value Cons: Watch is somewhat large for a woman and ugly!
Summary: When I set out to purchase a heart rate monitor, in order to accurately measure the intensity of my workouts, I limited my search to Polar products. As a regular gym-goer, the heart rate feature on cardiovascular equipment primarily works with this ... read more

Pros: Doubles as a wrist watch, comes in the color pink for the ladies, easy buttons Cons: figuring out how to transmit the data to your computer was a hassle
Summary: I bought this after reviewing several heart rate monitors online and could not be happier with this monitor. The one thing that I really like is that it can also be used as a regular watch so you don't have to wear the heart rate monitor on one

Pros: accurate, comfortable Cons: none
Summary: My new F11 works great! This is exactly the model I was looking for! I was blown away by the awesome customer service I got at heartratemonitorsusa.com. I dealt with a guy named Craig T who was very helpful. I would highly recommend both the F11 and

Pros: Watch and Heart Rate functions are great. Cons: Battery in Watch not user replaceable. Service center is unacceptably slow.
Summary: I've had good luck with the functionality of the Heart Rate Monitor. I've replaced the battery in the Heart Rate Strap several times. Even with the coded transmitter, the unit seems to have intermittent problems with other users with Polar monitors in

Pros: Great HRM and features for the price. Easy to see your target heart rate. Cons: Would like to see solar power added to help extend the batter life.
Summary: I purchased the Polar F6 because the price and features were just right. I have been using the Polar F6 for about 2 weeks now and I am enjoying it. Navigating the watch features is easy to do as well as using the HRM. I have used the Polar F6 at the gym

Pros: Great watch; great features Cons: No stopwatch, despite the marketing materials stating the F6 has a stopwatch
Summary: This is a great watch/heart rate monitor, but I purchased it because the website and the store display said it also had a "stopwatch" feature. It doesn't. I read the manual cover-to-cover and reviewed Polar's website in detail to find out how to access

Pros: No Crosstalk.
More Features Than I Will Ever Use.
Easy to Keep Track of Sessions. Cons: Not Exactly Attractive, It Reminds Me of a Cheap Digital I Owned Many Years Ago.
Summary: I still am amused at Polar's description of this watch as "dress" in style, as it looks cheap. I had heart bypass surgery a few months back; believe me this was considerable motivation to take my exercise seriously. I was told by the exercise
