Pros: It's a battery powered car, for goodness sakes!!! Cons: I can't ride in it too:(
My son has been obsessed with cars since birth. No kidding! He loves car races (especially the pit stops), likes to work on tractors with grandpa (he's a tire fanatic), and loves riding in golf carts. I don't know if it's a wheel obsession, or if...
Pros: Functional and easy to use; battery-operated; Needs recharge in relation to use Cons: None
You can tell it's Spring. More kids are running around and playing outside, in the streets, at local parks and the neighborhoods. Baseball, soccer and football games are back everywhere you look. Toys that were put up in the garages made their way...
Pros: Um, it's red Cons: Too slow, too loud, cheap plastic, poor traction, wide steering
Compared with other motorized toys, this one is not worth the money. First, the battery takes forever to charge (18 hours) and even when charged it does not stay that way long. After about an hour of playing the car slows significantly and it's not so ...
Pros: Sturdy and rugged vehicle. At age 2 1/2 my son drove it like a pro. Cons: Would prefer a better seat-belt configuration. Our seat-belt version was only velcro.
My oldest son was given this product for Christmas and he had just turned 2. He was afraid of it at first. However, at 2 1/2 he loved it and could drive it like a pro. In learning to drive the vehicle my son better learned terms like "forward"...
Not the best ride on for kids by commedia1 ,Dec 12 '03
Pros: It is nice looking and slower running then some other ride on cars Cons: Not very sturdy, poor turning radius, slow.
My kids have 3 ride on between them, this one is used the least. There are several reasons for this. First, the vehicle is hard to turn, so when the get to the end of our driveway, they have to get out and pull it around. They do not need to do this with the motorcycle or other truck they have. The hood keeps comming off, which drive they nuts because they don't want to ride a "broken" vehicle. This also goes the slowest (which may be a positive for some people) but not fun for the kid who brother gets a faster one! Also the trim on the back pulls out (we just chucked it as we got tired of putting it back on). This is a very cute vehicle and visually appealing, but with so many other ride on choices, I would skip this one.
Make it go faster modifiedpowerwheels.com by jasncab ,Mar 25 '06
Pros: Easily modified. Safe when slow and learning, fun when faster and still safe Cons: Plastic tires can wear out when too much power is applied :)
My daughter has this jeep and loves it. Plenty of roomfor two as well as large wheels to cover a lot of ground. She is 5 now, but loved it when she was 4 and a little younger.
We made it more useful by adding some power recently. It tends to be a little slow once they get used to the speed and sterring. It isnt great for grass in the stock configuration, but that is easily fixed.
You can easily resolve many of the issues listed here by just making it go faster. Check out http://www.modifiedpowerwheels.com This guy has taken some real time to explain how to make it go faster so it will last until your kids are 8 or 9!
