Pros: great battery life, easy to use menus, great quality Cons: a little heavy, newer and lighter models out there now
I have had my Nokia phone since August and could not be happier. The menus are easy to navigate, it has a large number of options. From a Calendar, to games, to setting the ringing tone, it is all here.
The battery life on all Nokia phones...

Pros: Great battery life Cons: Too pricey
The 6160 is a great phone. The battery life is excellent and the interface is better then that of most Motorola or Eriksson phones on the market. The features are plenty and using the phone is a cinch!

Pros: small, customizable Cons: small, battery, scratches
1. Didn't buy this product. Another toy my company gave me. I like it because it's small, but that's also a minor problem. I have trouble putting it to my head to listen/talk properly.
I like the ability to program in many names, the myriad of...

Pros: Size, transmission and reception of calls Cons: Poorly written directions for phone and most accessories
The Nokia 6160 is a very small and easy to use cell phone; don't try too hard to follow the written directions. They are very poorly written. Most of the features you can find out for yourself by just "tinkering".
It's best to talk with...

Pros: Features, Sound Quality Cons: Antenna breaks easily
Overall I would I have to say that this is a good quality phone. The sound quality is probably the best on the market and the extensive features this phone offers are by far more than most other phones. The main problem I have had with this phone is that...

Pros: Great features, convenient size Cons: Phone seems to heat up
This phone heats up (around the ear piece) to an uncomfortable temperature if you use it for 15 minutes or more. At first, I thought that it was my imagination. However, a later replacement phone has the same problem. I'm not sure what it is caused...

Pros: Small, lightweight size, Features, Incredible call clarity Cons: none
I've used previous generation cell phones (Motorola, Nokia)and haven't been enamoured of the technology until now. This is the first cell phone that actually doesn't drop every third call and actually makes the person on the other end sound like a human...

The Nokia 6160 was my first cellular phone I have owned. This phone was recommended to me by a friend and has been a great investment for me. Anyone who is looking for a very portable phone that has many options, as well as good sound quality will...

Pros: blocks roaming charges, nice looking, sturdy antenna Cons: low battery life, not very loud
I have used the Nokia 6120 for about 4 months now. The first two phones I had were a Motorola bag phone and a Motorola star-tac (both analog). I switched from the Nokia 5160 after constantly picking up roaming charges from Canada. I live about 30...

Pros: Flip cover, vibrator built in Cons: Timer in HH:MM; can easily place unwanted calls
I've had both the Motorola StarTac 7760 & the Nokia 6160. I must say that the Motorola StarTac (ST7760) is much better than the Nokia 6160 (N6160). Here's why. 1) The ST7760 flips closed so you don't pinch it in between the seat belt and have it...

Pros: Long battery life, dual analog/digital Cons: reliability
The Nokia 6160 is a very easy to use phone. The menus are easily understood and button placement seems logical. We had problems setting up our voicemail, but it was a service provider problem rather than a hardware problem.
The...

Fine Device worth the looking at!
by theo1958 ,Mar 22 '05
Pros: All in one, like taking your PC with you wherever you go.
Remarkable capablities. Cons: A little bulky. Screen graphics geared to toward the "youth" market.
I've been testing my SideKick II for weeks now. My findings are as following:
As a telephone: Good reception, easy to use, a little bigger than you standard cell, but it also does a lot more.
As a EMAIL device: Easily sets up to receive and send emails for your other email providers. Depending on email traffic, there is about a 5 minute delay or less, in the other party receiving your email.
As a TEXT MESSAGE device: Cake, especially with the backlighted keyboard.
Browser: Not nearly fast as Cable, but more than adequate for casual web surfing.
Other positive notes: Speaker phone, which makes it great for use in the car with a headset.
All you contact info and callendar can be synced to your PC via Outlook and Intellysync(software provided with phone).
Batter life: Very good.
T-Mobile service, occassional brief DATA outages, however, phone and text messaging always work. Shame they gear their marketing toward the 18-30 youth market. A great BUSINESS tool...
