Pros: Refreshing; Illuminating; Gives skin a glow and perfect appearance Cons: price, BUT it lasts a LONG time
Its obvious by now that I love Prescriptives foundation and concealer. They are simply the best out there, no questions. If you are not familiar with their products, this one is just too cool. Its my new favorite powder. Ive been using...
Pros: Gives skin a slight glow; blurs imperfections; sets foundation well; easy to use Cons: Maybe not enough "glow" for some; not the best at oil absorption; somewhat expensive
There are a few ladies here on Epinions who have been telling me for at least a year now that I need to try the Prescriptives Magic Liquid Powder. I'm completely in love with Avon's loose powder as well as ...
Pros: Makes your skin look amazing! Cons: It's expensive and sometimes hard to find.
Let me tell you about my latest experience with buying face powder. For years Ive been using Clinique Loose Powder and for years Ive battled flaking dry skin. I never put the two together though.
But on one of my many trips to the...
Pros: Feels cool, long lasting, looks great Cons: Price
Several months ago I went on a shopping excursion with my dear friend KMINER. Her goal, show Cathy the world of cosmetics outside of Mary Kay. My goal, get a foundation brush from MAC (since MK doesn't have those) and that cool stuff Shantel wrote the...
It wasn't until recently that I was given the opportunity to try Prescriptives Magic Liquid Powder. I had come across it on several online websites, and even passed by the Prescriptives counters because the price seemed outrageous for a...
Pros: Great finish, doesn't leave skin looking dry or flaky Cons: Expensive, hard for me to find, brush stinks
I was hearing so many great things about Prescriptives that I just knew I had to have some for myself. I was going to Edmonton, and was visiting the elusive LUSH store, and told anyone I would gladly pick up goodies for them if they wanted (LUSH is hard...
I initially tried Magic Powder as part of a makeover at my local Prescriptives counter. I didn't buy it right away since it was a bit pricey, but I came back to get it because I really wanted to get that glowy, dewey look.
Pros: Illuminating, natural feeling and looking, refreshing, and long lasting. Cons: Pricey. Lame brush.
Say bye bye to dry, lifeless setting powders. This product offers a healthy glow no setting powder has done before. I love the fact that my skin feels supple and refreshed. How? The product is composed of 70% water molecules. The moment it touches your...
Pros: Easy to apply, cool and smooth. Dewy and fresh looking skin. Cons: Price, I suppose, though it lasts a long time.
When I first brushed this product on my face, I just couldn't believe it! It felt cool and moist, and my skin looked nearly flawless! Just that fast. I stopped wearing foundation, kept wearing blush, and then brushed on the "magic".
People often guess me to be in my late 40's -- thank you Prescriptives Magic Powder!
Yes, it's spendy...but it lasts a long time. And it's so easy to look so much better, "fresher". Go on, save your pennies and try it just once. You'll be hooked! :-)
Great for dry to normal skin... but not for oily by bettysquee ,Nov 19 '05
Pros: Beautiful! Cons: Highlights oiliness
This powder makes my skin look airbrushed, glowing and fabulous when i first put it on. But as the day goes on and I get oily, its disasterous. It makes my oiliness 10 times more noticable. So i fully recommend this if you don't get oily. But if you are greasy like me, forget it!
