Pros: fairly cheap Cons: Very Poor Video
I bought one of these from Best Buy for $229.00, Though Mine is indeed a Proview it is badged and sold as a Mag Innovision LT926WB. I have had good luck with Mag Innovision CRT's in the past so I figured what the heck and bought this. Im going on my ...

Pros: Clear, crisp picture. Makes games come to life! Cons: It's not an HDTV, but it isn't supposed to be.
I'm pretty shocked at some of the other reviews here. I've had this monitor for a couple of years now and have had absolutely zero problems with it. It's just as bright, crisp, and clear as the day I bought it. Even though I work in the IT field, I've ...

ProView PL926WBi
by archangel6904 ,Aug 19 '06
Pros: Great sleek looking monitor with brilliant colors and definitely a steal for the price. Cons: Provided that there not some kind of defect with this reported problem.
I agree with everyone else on this monitor. However, I've had it for 61 days and it's just shown the first sign of trouble. The other day I happen to be walking through my dinning room and in a split second the monitor went from perfect color to hazed pink.everything was viewable, but in pink. I had to return it. I have another just like it. My sister also bought hers "same model" about a couple of weeks after mine. Hers just turned green yesterday. Now I'm puzzled and worried as to weather or not I should return it for a refund or keep it. That's 2 in a row. That's kinda strange. If anyone else has a similar problem please let me know. Just post a review. My email is archangel6904@yahoo.com Thank you.
Overall: It's a great sleek looking monitor with brilliant colors and definitely a steal for the price.
Provided that there not some kind of defect with this reported problem.

Pretty good 19" monitor
by kevinxiques ,Apr 13 '06
Pros: Cheap price. Crisp graphics and text. Nice wide screen format Cons: Analog only. Maximum resolution of 1440x900 (but that's ok)
Since I'm not an expert on monitors, though I've owned quite a few, I was unsure what to expect with the Proview PL926WBi. At the current price ($248 at WalMart), I feel that I got an excellent deal for a good product. The image and text quality is crisp and there are no dead pixels to speak of. I am quite happy with this product.

Bad pixels on two returns...
by desertvs ,Jul 17 '07
Pros: Bargain LCD Cons: Too bright, pixel loss problems
The first LCD had two bad pixels. They were visible on certain background colors, black being the most visible. One was blue and one red (red, green, blue). The red pixel grew in size and showed up white on web pages. The monitor went back to the store here in Grand Junction, CO. The second time around we get the same problem only one pixel is bad this time. It again shows a red dot on the black desktop. It is in the upper right corner so it doesn't distract me too badly. If it grows or more appear back we go again.
The color was a challenge to get right for photo editing. I ended up using the Catalyst setting from my ATI card.
I also had to go to the Proview site to get the current driver. Yes it made a difference. The drivers on the disk are for other monitors and are useless.
A side note...My brother has this same monitor and he has no pixel loss.

Cheap, but you get what you pay for.
by proviewsucks ,Jun 05 '09
Pros: Nice size, crisp display, cheap Cons: CHEAP, Doesn't last, constant problems, Capacitor plauged, just TERRIBLE, don't buy. DON'T.
I bought this monitor about a year and a half ago, and this lasted me that long. Yeah. I hate Proview. First it had changing colors, blue tint, pink tint, you name it. Now the capacitos have gone faulty and the screen will turn on for 2.5 seconds and turn off. In short, if you're looking for a monitor that will last you a long time and is durable, don't get any kind of Proview product. It will fail you in the end. NEVER BUY A PROVIEW PRODUCT. It will save you the frustration of blowing it to bits. And money :D
