Pros: Efficient, Fast, Comfortable, Portable, Light, Discreet and Relatively Cheap Cons: A little Loud
Summary: When I first started looking at pumps, I did my research and knew I should buy an electric pump as opposed to the hand pump, since I planned on working full-time, and hand pumps usually take a long time to empty the breast. The electric pump mostly ...

Pros: Easy set up, breakdown, clean up. Easy to use, not painful once learn the controls Cons: Bag could be bigger, other than that no real cons, plastic parts contain BPA
Summary: When doing research and reading reviews about pumps I got very nervous because pumps are so expensive and non-returnable... I registered at target for my baby shower and Target does NOT carry the Ameda pump lines so I didn't even consider this as an ...

Pros: Convenience, price, lightweight. Easy-to-use. Affordable (yup, I said price twice). Cons: Suction/Speed dials on base are awkward.

Pros: lightweight Cons: straight suction
Summary: The pump base fits two ameda bottles in it, but you can't keep the bottles in it while you are pumping so you are holding on the two bottles with your hands and you have the base on your lap so you can change the suction and speed throughout, and the ...

Pros: Efficient, easy to use, durable construction and motor, hygiene system, control both suction and speed. Cons: A little heavy, and just a bit noisy.
Summary: I purchased this pump after using a single, manual pump for about 6 months and coming down with several breast infections. This Ameda personal dual electric pump is awesome! You just put it together (easy), hold it to your breasts, turn it on and ...

Pros: The best double electric pump on the market! Cheaper that Medela, but works better! Cons: NOTHING!
Summary: I love, love, love this breast pump! With my second child I was determined to breastfeed. When that didn't go well at all, I decided pumping was the next best thing. This pump allowed me to pump EVERYDAY, typically 5 times a day, for 7 months. (My ...

Pros: fast, easy to use, adjustable suction and cycling, hygienic Cons: not totally quiet, perhaps not sufficient stimulation for women with smaller breasts
Summary: This pump has allowed me to continue breastfeeding my 6 month old son despite a hectic schedule. The manual pump I had before was way too slow, and the other electric pump I had (from the First Years) broke after only a few months of use. The Ameda ...

Pros: Light, quiet, strong and great price! Cons: none!
Summary: I agonized long & hard over which breast pump to get before my baby was born. I knew I'd be going back to work, and I wanted to breastfeed for at least 6 mos, so I wanted the best pump available. The Ameda Purely Yours is, in my experience, fantastic.
