Pros: Easy to Drink Cons: Carbonation too low; thin body; not enough complexity
Hefeweizen is a style of beer that comes from Germany. The prefix “hefe” means yeast, and the root word “weizen”, means wheat. Like its name suggests, these beers are usually yeasty and grainy, like a slice of freshly baked bread.
Pros: Empty bottles can be used as flower vases Cons: It's the hefeweizen with no hefe and no weizen!
There's one quality in people that I value over all others: honesty. If a guy is honest with me, I'll respect him, whether I agree with his viewpoints or not. In brewers, honesty manifests itself through truth in advertising. If you tell me you're ...

Pros: Refreshing, smooth Cons: None come to mind
Craft beer is, for the most part, a local phenomenon. Most small breweries sell their beer within a small distance from where it’s brewed, and for the most apart that’s a great thing. Don’t get me wrong, there are many great beers from around the country...
I was trying to save face when I first ordered Pyramid Hefeweizen a few years ago.
I have very underdeveloped tastebuds when it comes to beer, wine and spirits in general. Blame it on my choice of colleges. My colleagues did not host enough...
Pros: Refreshing, subtle but excellent flavor Cons: Ask for the lemon on the side
At the end of my shift last night I was about to sit down with a Chicken Picatta. I’ve spent the last couple of months at work drinking Sam Adams Winter, Guinness or our own branded unfiltered amber, but none of these would have complemented a light dish...
Pros: Still a good drinking beer Cons: Not as complex as could be
I guess I have been on a bit of a wheat beer kick of late. I've been drinking numerous wheat beers from Germany, Ireland and America. I try to drink beers from different styles but sometimes certain styles will seem to rise to the front. Wheat...
Pros: Light and smooth Cons: Clean but not complex
I was first introduced to this Beer when I was shopping with a friend at Costco in Berkeley, yeah that's right, COSTCO, and my friend nearly did a little dance in the aisle upon seeing that they sold cases of Hefeweizen there. When we got home and ...
Pros: Very nice Summer brew.... ! Cons: It could use a little more head..
Wow, what a great beer. It has a very distinctive taste of wheat and a slight apricot flavor. Very nice. I've had people want to try the beer for the first time just by seeing it in the frosty glass I put it in, very appealing visually as well.

Pros: Light, Refreshing, Good With Any Meal Cons: Won't Stand up to spicy food
Of all the pyramid ales I have tried, this isn't the lightest but it is close. Despite its light body, Hefeweizen is a very good beer. It is wheaty or malty in flavor, and very smooth without a hint of bitterness.
One of the better U.S. Hefeweizens by fitzspike195 ,Apr 05 '08
Pros: Well balanced, good body, good session beer. Cons: Cloudiness could be a turn-off for some.
Having sampled most of the Left Coast Hefe offerings I find I enjoy this the most. It is well balanced of medium in the hops and malts department and of medium body. It pours a cloudy amber with with a good amount of off-white head. Medium carbonation and full flavored for the type.
I like the fact that this beer is un-filtered and has some yeast remnants on the bottom of the bottle. Drink it down it's good for you! I like the 22 ounce size as the 12 ouncers disappear all too quickly. Well recommended for U.S. craft brewed Hefe fans.
