Pros: Small and the music can be easily changed with included software. Cons: Needs a memory card to hold enough music to really satisfy someone.
The RCA Kazoo is an overall pretty cool MP3 player. When I first got it I was amazed at its small size and all you got with it. The player is so small you can easily hide it in your mouth, but I don't think that would be a good idea. It comes with...

The RD1000 (32MB) k@zoo! is, if nothing else, a good concept (solid-state memory is a good application here). It is delivered in a compact package and is designed for space-savers and on-the-go listeners who do not care to carry more weighty cassette /...
Pros: Tiny, easy to use Cons: low battery life!! also, the accompanying software is not very user-friendly.
My RCA Kazoo mp3 player was not exactly what I had in mind when I decided to invest in an mp3 player. Whenever other people see me using it, they comment on how "cute" and "little" it is. For the price, it's really not a bad deal. However, I would...
Pros: Small, cheap, good sound quality, Cons: Memory, Battery Life
I bought my Kazoo Mp3 player right before a trip so I wouldn’t have to bring all my CD’s along. I normally wouldn’t have bought one, but it was on sale at Wal-Mart(America’s Favorite Store) for $79.00.
Pros: Extremely compact, decent price Cons: no song description, short battery life, a hassle for XP users, little memory

Ok first of all, you can get this KAZOO mp3 player at Radio Shack for $70.00-80.00 dollars. Way cheaper than buying it online or at Target, or Walmart (who charge 100 dollars plus tax for the thing) It pays to comparssion shop, and not buy at the first...

Pros: overall good sound quality, compact Cons: musicmatch software terrible, product support and warranty depts. completely worthless

Pros: Elegant design, extremely small and lightweight, SmartMedia expandibility, flash upgradeable firmware Cons: NO WINDOWS XP DRIVERS AVAILABLE OR PLANNED
I wish I could tell you that all of the manufacturer's claims about ease of use, sound quality, and battery life were true. Unfortunately, I cannot. I am posting this review primarily to put potential buyers on notice - if you use Windows XP or plan on...
I just bought mine from Circuit City online for $59.99 with a $20 MIR. $39.99 is great price for this small jewel. I use Windows XP and it was a little difficult to get the driver downloaded and figure out how to download music, but once I got the hang of it, it's very, very easy. The sound is very good and I would definately recommend this to anyone. At this price, what can you lose???
I love my Kazoo, I bought better headphones for a better fit and the sound is great! More memory was only 30 dollars, but I wish it held more songs. Bought it on amazon.com and I still love it!

for its price this is the best mp3 ive ran across. just get yourself some rechargeable batteries, and a memory upgrade off ebay and u have the perfect mp3 player. overall i spent $40 for the player, $10 for 12 rechargeable batteries and the charger, and $20 for a 64mb card. for a lil over $70 i have 90 minutes of music and changing the songs is a lil hard at first, but u get the hang of it quickly.
I just got this as a gift and it is great. Easy to use and download. Instructions are a little more complex than they need to be but read between them and it becomes easy. Lots of features and the sound is very clear. You can also change out the earphones to smaller ones if you want.
I really love my K@zoo. I listen to it every day when I go running and I feel like I'm listening to a CD from this little box that sits on my wrist. The interface is great and you can store lots of songs in it.

I got this player June 2002 and I'm very pleased with my purchase. For such a cheap buy it is wonderful. My main problem with this was finding a place that sold a memory card, many places said that they sold them, I'd get there and it would be the wrong size. It is very easy to work, though the instructions are a bit more complicated than they should be. I'd suggest finding a website that can explain operating it instead of the instructions it comes with. It is small enough to fit in my coat's cell phone pocket so I have no problem finding it. The battery life isn't long enough for me but that is easily curable with rechargable batteries. I would reccomend this product if you dont want to spend too much, if you have the money you should go ahead and get one with a bit more memory but this is still a great product. I did not rate the sound because its not the player that determines the quality it is the quality of the mp3 you download.
i gotta say the K@ZOO is a pretty sweet buy considering its price. i bought mine about a month ago and so far i have no compliants. transfering my mp3's into the K@zoo is a breeze and the programs that it comes with is very user friendly. the only thing that would make it even worth your money would be a bigger memory...

I bought my Kazoo in December and I really love it! It is a great buy for someone who is on a budget, plus it works great! Don't waste your money on an expensive MP3 Player when you can pay about $50 for the Kazoo; believe me you'll love it except for the fact that you have limited storage for songs and because of the bad battery life.
Not exactly what I expected... by Katkam1 ,Jul 18 '04
Pros: Great sound quality - light to carry, easy to use. Cons: Musicmatch software, Shoddy workmanship -
In the beginning, the Kazoo MP3 player was perfect for my needs, that is before the housing in between the area that holds the batteries broke. I bought a 64mg card and it met my needs - this is before it broke. The greatest letdown besides the shoddy workmanship was the Musicmatch software that came with the MP3 player. It was obsolete upon installing, and I was inundated with offers to upgrade...not for downloading music from the website, but to be able to burn cds that I already had software installed which was disabled after I installed Musicmatch.
I was attracted to this unit for the size and and price. 32 MB is just not enough room (I only got 8 songs out of it) and the memory cards are not cheap. You also have to crank the volume all the way up to get a decent sound. I returned it the next day and bought an RCA Lyra RD1070 which has better sound quality, 128 MB of internal memory and is expandable. Only an additional $20.00 for a much better product.
I got it and it has bad sound then after a whlile it did not work so i sent it back on the 11/1/02 and i am still waiting for it. I did not get a differnt one but i had a nice cd/mp3 palyer and it was way nicer and not as much monney. I would not recommend the product to anyone.
Don't waste your time. Rca doesn't provide Windows XP Drivers, they are too busy closing American factories and shipping the jobs overseas. Wouldn't want to actually support the products the produce. I will never again buy anything from RCA (Thompson)!!!!!!!
I bought this thinking it was a good buy for a new thing. I went home and started to work on it. I didn't understand some of the instructions. After a while i did it. The Mp3 wouldn't even turn on. When it finaly did work i downloaded 8 songs. That is all that it let me do. I couldn't believe i spent most of my money for something i could only use for 30 min. I am bringing mine back. i do not advise anyone to get this. Spend a few more dollors for better quality.
