Pros: Get e-mail and respond to e-mail - syncs with contact manager/calendar Cons: Typing messages on the device and the speed of Internet browsing
I have had this BlackBerry for about 9 months. It was given to me by my employer, so I am not sure what the current pricing is on the model. It is heavier than normal cell phones and quite a bit larger. The size is not a problem because it is actually ...

Pros: Nice display. Simple to use. Cool email and web access when it works. Cons: Email and web fee is entirely too much! Inconsistent service with email, web and GPS.

Blackberry 7100i rules
by jayafisher ,Dec 12 '05
Pros: Easy to use keyboard. Everything Blackberry is a pro. Cons: Seemingly short battery life.
About 1 day between charges.
I have had it for two weeks now and it blows my old cell phone away. As far as the phone functionality goes it is far superior in the quality of sound and ease of use. I get excellent signal strength everywhere I go (is this just Nextel? I don't know, but it is better than AT&T/Cingular). Not to mention the Nextel DC (walkie-talkie) function which should be a lot cooler once I figure out who I know that is using Nextel.
Now on to the Blackberry piece of it. I can see why people call it the 'crackberry', I can't seem to put this thing down. I always claimed that I didn't want to be that in touch but it really is nice to not have to fire up the laptop to respond to an email or to have the ability to google something while sitting in a restaurant.
Additional features: GPS - Can located your GPS coordinates, but you will have to pay if you want any applications that utilize this feature, USB sync - the ability to download the entire address book eliminating the need to type in address entries manually through the BlackBerry keyboard.
