The last time I visited Radio City Music hall was over twelve or thirteen years ago for the Christmas spectacular. I had two tickets for the 11:00am show on Monday December 19,2005 which is what I will get into first. The best tickets are $80 & $70 these ...

Pros: Rockettes are great, staging and acting is very professional and polished.
Cons: It's just not the same without that wonderful orchestra! Tickets are too expensive.

I saw the new Christmas show this week and I wish I had asked for my money back. It's just not the same show without the orchestra. I remember seeing it as a kid, and listening to the music, and suddenly, this wonderful orchestra came up out of now where! It was one of the great moments of the show for me. I mean, you pay $250 for a ticket to see the rockettes dance to a tape recorder? What are they going to do next, replace the dwarfs with animatronics????

Everybody is trying hard, but the heart seems to have gone out of the show.
