Pros: Good highway manners, Unique design. Cons: Price, Still could use more power.
Until the 2000 model year (when this car was reinvented) I was an avid fan of Mitsubishi's little pocket rocket known as "Eclipse." The pre 2000 Eclipses might have been more harsh on the road, smaller, and required more skill to drive, though they ...
Pros: Spunky V6 in GTS, Adequate Handling w/o harsh highway ride Cons: Cramped back seat, Can Get Pricey w/ options
I’ve always liked American cars, the bigger the better. My first car was a 1964 Buick Skylark with a 300 cid V8 and glass packs to make sure everyone knew I was coming. Then something curious happened in the 1980s. While I was driving my 20-year-old...
Pros: Great car, looks good, runs good, low maintenance Cons: Lack of cup holders, premium fuel only
I'm not going to go into the basic details since there are several other posts that already describe the car but since there isn't a review from someone who has owned it & driven it for a while, I thought I'd give a review from the perspective of having ...
Pros: Outside of the bagless cup, nothing Cons: Heavy, Looses suction quickly, does not work on bare floors
Well, my old vacuum bit the dust so to speak and I can't afford a Dyson, but the next best thing at Best Buy was this Bissel Momentum. I was really sold on it because of the pet turbo brush, not only because I have a cat, but they are perfect for ...
Pros: More refined and gentle than its second generation predecessor. Cons: Less of a boy-racer sports car and more of a grown-up grand tourer.
Okay, so if you haven't noticed, my user name is Triple Diamond. So, yeah. I am a Mitsubishi freak. I am obsessed with Mitsubishi. Oh, well. I hope that doesn't make me too biased.
Okay. The current edition Mitsubishi Eclipse. What's...
Pros: Very Smooth V6 and ride! Great Infinity Sound System. Cons: Missing a few "perks" that my Celica GT had...
Well, after looking and driving every sports car on the market, I made my choice, Eclipse. I was going from my 2000 Celica GT, which I love! But I couldn't ignore current interest rates--time for a new car! :) I honestly can't express how shocked I was...
Pros: Fast, fun, good looks, new V6 engine, offers a convertible Cons: not enough space for rear passengers
Just took a 2003 Eclipse V6 to the track and ran high 14's. Not bad at all. Being fast and nimble, Mitsubishi has come a long way. No longer having a turbo has helped keep the car from going to the shop all the time. The Eclipse has two engines...
Pros: Nice looking car Cons: Bad paint job, dealer was no help
I bought my 2003 Eclipse GTS in June 2002, a year later the paint was chipping and rusting. When I went to the dealer I was told it was my fault, that it was from rocks hitting the car. Well if that was true then why was the paint chipping in places that would not have been hit by a rock? The color of my eclipse was Titanium Pearl, I do not recommend buying a Mitsubishi in this color, as I also have a 2002 eclipse in the same color that has the same problem. I also went to a new dealer and the eclipse of the same color that was in the show room was already chipping and rusting.
Pros: Comfortable front seats, looks clean, good stereo system, reliable. Cons: Bad paint, can't make sharp turns, cramped back seat.
I have a 2003 eclipse GTS in black. I bought it in early 2005 and a year later the paint is fading in 4 different large spots on the top and trunk of the car.
I have had a pretty good experience with it other than that but I am annoyed that I am going to have to pay for a paint job on a car that is NOT that old. :(
