  • Razor Scooters Are Ultra-Hip and Selling FAST!

    Jul 30, 2000 by
    Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros: The coolest thing since sliced bread (well, you know what I mean)
Cons: A tad pricey at $99

Summary: When eToys.com puts a two per customer limit on a product it probably means that they had no idea that the product would sell so well and they can’t keep up with demand. Hopefully their buyers are “buying” the Razor Scooter like crazy. This ... read more

  • Awesome scooter, but keep in mind safety.

    Jun 21, 2009 by
    Not yet rated.
Pros: Quick, portable, easy to learn, high weight tolerance (220 lbs)
Cons: Small wheels speed bump in road no protection=OUCH!

Summary: I am currently the proud owner of a real Razor scooter, but have not ridden it as of yet. The safety concerns are written about all scooters in general, since I used to ride a cheaper, plastic deck scooter - the now unknown Rattler Sidewinder.AWESOME ... read more

Pros: Great look, riding performance, and price.
Cons: Can get flat spots, if you are being careless when riding.

Summary: I just got this scooter a few months ago and it is really neat. It is really smooth and quiet compared to my old one. I also like the brakes on it. The price was great to. It was only $20 and I love it! I looked at ToysRUs and their price was $40. ... read more

  • Highway to the Dangerzone

    Nov 9, 2001 by
    Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros: Nice looking, fairly cheap, can be smooth riding and find, very rugged, lightweight
Cons: Can be very dangerous, wheels tend to attract grit, handle grips fall apart easy

Summary: I admit it: as an adult I have rode the razor just a few too many times for my age. However, with that being said there is no real age for anybody riding the razor - the simply joy of gliding on a smooth surface for dozens of feet can be fun in itself. ... read more

  • Forget the Razor scooters...The new Scoot-Ped has just arrived

    Oct 23, 2001 by
    Rated a Helpful Review
Pros: I can honestly say that the Scoot-Ped is the best I have seen so far.
    Cons: Nothing at all.

Summary: Forget the razor scooters and the Runt mini bikes...I just tested the new Scoot-Ped scooter and can honestly say that I have found a little piece of heaven riding under my feet. The Scoot-Ped is basically a kick scooter and a mini bike all in one. It is ... read more

  • Great Alternative to Walking

    Oct 22, 2001 by
    Rated a Helpful Review
Pros: Very light and easy to carry, fast, easily picks up speed.
Cons: Small wheels, somewhat shaky handling.

Summary: The scooter is rated on this site as a toy, yet for me it is anything but one. My main reason for buying the scooter was to reduce my commuting time by decreasing the time I need to walk to and from the train station. It has worked beautifully and now I ... read more

    Pros: Easy to transport
Cons: If you're older than 10 you look like a dork

Pros: Easy to ride, looks good, easy to pack, can do really cool tricks on it
Cons: Not very good on sandy roads...(believe me...I tried...)

Summary: I think that I used to have a scooter when I was younger. It was a cheap plastic one with extra big handles by Fisher Price and was red and blue. I didn't really like it and gladly turned it in for a bike. Now, my bike is collecting dust in my ... read more

Cons: Potential Injury if you go too fast or hit a bump

Summary: I got my first scooter on my birthday in October. Since in my part of the country it's very cold in October, I had to try it out in the garage, weaving around the cars. I could also try it out in the unfinished part of my basement. I loved it! I would ... read more

Cons: Scary!!! (for moms, not kids)

Summary: Let me start by telling you a little bit about razor scooters (if you know what they are, you can skip this part!) Razor scooters are somewhere between a skateboard and a bicycle. Like a skateboard, they are slim, about 3 feet long and have ... read more

    Cons: I hate skateboarders

Summary: I love scooters. I love scooting around with my little scooter friends. I hate skateboards. They stink. They don't have a handle. I like a handle because I don't have the patience or skill to learn to skateboard. Razor scooters are the best. I can do ... read more

Cons: Unwieldy, not hard to learn, not professional like skate boards, not for travel.

Summary: Ah, I remember, I was ten, I had my bike, but then, one day it arrived, a two wheeled thing. With a cool three steel tubed neck, and black and yellow style, and a flat and wide board. It was a skate board with little bike wheels! No I mean a scooter. Out ... read more
