Pros: Adds protein and strength to damaged hair Cons: none if used for the right purpose
I am a licensed cosmetologist and I have used Redken CAT on a regular basis in the salon. It greatly improves the strength and elasticity of damaged, over processed hair. If you are frequently using harsh chemicals on your hair (powder lighteners,...

Redken CAT

Pros: Quick protein fix
Great for porosity equaliser pre colour, pre perm
Cons: If there were any I'd mention it.
I have been using CAT since about 1991.
When it first came into our salon I was a first year apprentice. One of our Seniors put 3 treatments on my hair. Each one was left on 5 minutes, the third being processed under a hood dryer.
My hair curled up like it had just been permed.
back then it was starchier. These days it leaves your hair softer.
There is no another Treatment on the marked I would recommend above CAT.
The CAT Shampoo was lovely til they discontinued it. Luckily for me I got 8 x 1lt's on ebay!
Every now and then I do a full head bleach. It can leave my hair feeling like Jelly!
I use cat 3 times first day, then once a day for a week and within a week my hair feels alot better.
The ends don't appear as fuzzy when I use it regularly!
