Pros: Reasonably priced, immediate visible results, easy to use Cons: It is a tray system
Ive been spending gobs of money this year at the dentist trying to restore my teeth to their once youthful appearance. Unfortunately, my dentist is having to fix what another quack dentist messed up grossly mismatched and discolored and ...

Pros: Cheap, easy, and makes your smile magical. Cons: May cause teeth some sensitivity.
When taking pictures, people always ask me, "How did you get your teeth so white?" All I have to say is I am grateful for Rembrandt teeth whitening! A couple years ago my mom and I decided we wanted to whiten our teeth. We went to the store and she tried ...

Pros: Comfortable Trays, Not Messy, Easy to Use Cons: Burns Gums, Not Worth the Price
I don't have heavy stains on my teeth. I don't drink much coffee, don't smoke and my teeth are very healthy. However, I had a bit of yellowing on the sides of my "vampire" teeth. I decided to just spiff up my teeth with Rembrandt Professional Whitening. ...

Better Than Crest Whitestrips!
by adachic ,May 15 '05
Pros: Really Works!, Can use whenever..., Price! Cons: tooth sensitivity
I bought the Rembrandt Professional whitening kit since I didn't want to pay nearly $30 for the Crest Whitestrips (I have used the Crest Whitestrips- nearly 2 years ago). I also loved the review prior to mine and figured, what the heck! I'll give it a try.
The only problem I had with the system was how sensitive my teeth were to it. They hurt a little for the first 10 minutes (but not to a point where it was unbearable). After I finished and rinsed my mouth out with water, it went away.
As an avid soda pop drinker, I have discolored teeth, yet I'm not willing to kick my soda habit. The rembrandt system is easy-to-use, effective, and I think the tray system is more convenient than those strips.
The bottom line is:
If you want real results, spend the $20 on this instead of the $30+ on the crest whitestrips.

Buyer Beware
by iheartyou ,Dec 09 '05
Pros: none Cons: too many to list
Rembrandt Professional White is an awful product that burns the gums, gives far inferior results to the strongest form of crest white strips and is a total waste of money and time... buyer beware, you've been warned...

Disgustingly messy & trays don't fit
by pickthree ,Nov 06 '07
Pros: It does whiten your teeth if you can stick with the nasty process. Cons: Complete turn off as far as being slimy & gross and impossibly improper tray fit.
The 2 Hour Whitening Kit is disgusting. It is a step backward from the disposable wax forms that Rembrandt uses (or used) in the prior systems. The tooth trays don't fit, (how can they - no one's mouth is the same form or size) and the goo is disgusting, slimy, and unsanitary looking and feeling when you have to use the forms over and over 4 times in an hour. I understand this is similar to the system that dentists use with the custom mouth trays made to fit teeth exactly, but that is the difference. The Rembrandt trays don't fit and the goo goes out of the tray and into your mouth more than a custom tray would allow.
Total thumbs down as far as gross-out value. Stick with the wax block system that Rembrandt made before - if you can find it. My Walmart only carries this goopy tray thing now. I think I will go back to the Crest strips if this is all I can find in a Rembrandt product anymore.
