Pros: Every guest room has a breathtaking waterfront/harbor view of Elizabeth River. Architecturally: unforgetably monumental. Cons: Expensive lodging, food. $10/day parking. Very hard guest room floors (for exercising). Understaffed dining room

Pros: Friendly staff. Cons: Expensive, no VCR, there was a desk but no table, location, substandard food.
Summary: This overpriced behemoth is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I stayed here for a conference, paid for by the Navy, so luckily I didn't have to pay for this trip. 1) The food was terrible and expensive. 2) There was no refrigerator and microwave.
