Pros: Good Graphics, Fun Gameplay, Nostalgic for Resident Evil Fans Cons: Wii Remote Shaking Doesn't Always Register, Lacks Scare Factor, Questionable Hit Detection
Capcom has been one of the Wii's biggest supporters since the console's launch. It came as no surprise then to see that a new Resident Evil would be hitting Nintendo's quirky new console. This game came to be known as Resident Evil: The Umbrella ...
Pros: A solid rail shooter that offers a detailed history of the series Cons: Its brevity makes it a rental for all but series fan.
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles proudly continues the traditions of the Resident Evil series. Its pretty, has awful dialogue and, above all, is a blast to play, even if the scare factor has been lost over the years. Although very short (about 10-15 ...
Pros: Many weapons, replay value, good story Cons: Rail Shooter and Easy level is not easy.
I had always looked at the Resdident Evil games and passed them by because I thought they would be to intense for my kids. Well, my 12 year old finally talked me into getting this game for him and his brothers. If this game is anything like the others, ...
Pros: Lots to do, many weapons to choose from, good replay value Cons: Levels seem too short at times
This newest game in the series, is a completely different genre of Resident Evil game. However, that's not a bad thing, as the game is still very similar to previous games in the series. Instead of being a third-person shooter, the game is a first-person ...
Pros: Fun to play, tons of replay value. A must for any RE fan. Cons: Holding the Wiimote can strain the wrist, I recommend a Zapper to play with.
Intro: I have been a fan of the Resident Evil games since the very beginning. It is probably my favorite game family and I have devoured (pun intended) every single one of them. My video game life revolves around Resident Evil, the only reason I ...
Pros: Probably the best FPS ever conceived for a console for the RE license. Cons: Limited movement throughout the game. Missing key moments in RE 2.
RE: UC is probably the first successful First-Person-Shooter conceived for the Nintendo Wii console system. Previous RE FPS didn't do too well, due to clunky controls and very different storylines. What makes UC such an amazing game is that it lets RE ...
Pros: Good 2 player mode Cons: Insanely difficult in single player mode, bad dodging controls
I was very excited when I heard about Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles. I thought it would satisfy my craving for Resident Evil until Resident Evil 5 is released. I'm sad to say that it turned out to be disappointing. First off, I enjoy on rails ...
Good game for one, great game for two by buzzinfrogg ,Nov 28 '07
Pros: good graphics, great story, perfect for big TVs Cons: music kinda crapy, can be too hard for 1 player
I got this game when it came out and I am very happy with it. This is an arcade style game for those who dont know, so your movements will be restricted, and dont expect to find maps and typewrites along the way. The graphics are pretty good for the Wii and theres plenty to shoot at (sometimes theres too much to shoot at). Gameplay will become a lot harder once you pass the first few levels. The game is a lot more fun with 2 players. If you plan on playing alone, you better be a good shot. All in all this is a great game for the Wii and the RE line.
