finally, a place that allowed pets!
by texaskinsey ,Jun 16 '05
Pros: allowed pets, nice and quiet Cons: none
I had been driving from San Francisco to Phoenix with my dog Prince, a Chihuahua, and we needed a place to crash for the night. I had stopped at several hotels which did not allow dogs, and finally I found this place which did
what a relief! We only stayed long enough to get a good night sleep, but the room was clean and it was nice and quiet which were the only things I cared about at that point. Prince was especially happy because the front desk gave him doggy biscuits.

A Really Great Place to Stay
by jmurph203 ,Mar 23 '04
Pros: Resort feel, without the resort price. Cons: Near I-10, but not much else.
I was fortunate enough to stay at this hotel when I booked with priceline.com. The staff was more attentive, approachable, and friendly than some of the resorts up the road in Palm Springs, without paying that silly resort fee. The suites were of ample size and better than average comfort. My room overlooked a golf course and mountains which made for a spectacular sunset. The breakfast was much better than average.

Work get-a-way?!?
by golf20004 ,Apr 15 '04
Pros: View, location, high speed internet Cons: none
What a wonderful place to stay on business! I just attended a meeting at the Residence Inn. The meeting was great we got a lot accomplished due to the high speed internet, but the accommodations couldnt be beat. The view from my room was spectacular. The room was spacious and the staff very helpful. We had a blast on team day when we played tennis, basketball and swam and then ended the day with a fabulous BBQ area. Im looking forward to bringing my family back this summer.

Breathtaking ... Res Inn Palm Desert
by kristen0124 ,Mar 10 '04
Pros: Location/scenery and amenities Cons: Didn't stay long enough!
We watched the sunset over the mountains and it was breathtaking. Our friends had recommended the hotel to us and the guest room views our favorite part of the stay.
We were surprised at all the amenities offered at these locations: tennis courts, putting greens, beautiful outdoor pools, spas, concierge desk, golf discounts and more.
It was more like a mini resort with much better service than most hotels I stay in.
Breakfast was great and were greeted by a breakfast attendant who knew all the great spots in Palm Desert
The Marriott Residence Inn Palm Desert will always be where I stay in Palm Springs. By the way this hotel accepts Pets and our cat, Tiger loved to sleep on the sofa.
