Pros: Very firm when fully inflated. Cons: Does not stay inflated for long. Terrible customer service.
My wife and I used to have a pull out couch bed that was not very comfortable. Late one night, she saw a commercial for the Restform air mattresses and thought they sounded good. The next time the commercial came on, she taped it so I could see it. We ...
Pros: twin pump inflates speedily, double size built in pump inflates speedily. Cons: bed sags and looses air. Customer service and satisfaction is non-existant!
I needed temporary sleeping arrangements, and an inflatable bed would be the perfect solution. After reviewing a few different infomercials and store merchandise - I choose the Restform. BAD CHOICE!!! Not only is the merchandise inferior- what you don't ...
Pros: Fast inflating Cons: Baffles joined together so now I have a huge hump on my bed!
I loved it at first, mine never leaked but 2 people couldn't sleep on it comfortably. So slept on it by myself and during the middle of the night 2 baffles converged into 1 and now I have a huge hump on my bed. Now my sheet won't stay on and there is now no way 2 people could ever be in that bed at one time again. Glad it was on the far right side and not directly in the middle or I wouldn't even be able to use it. Called the company and there is only a 90 day warranty...how crappy is that.
Were on our second now in 6 weeks! The first one needed inflating every 2 hours.
We tried our second one, a replacement last night. Inflated it at half past midnight. By 6:30 am, it had gone down so that we thought we slept in a hammock!
Pros: Inflates real quick. Cons: Not as safe or durable as shown on TV.
We had just bought two of these beds in less then two weeks
One of the beds never stayed inflated. The other bed Is always leaking, when watching the commercial I felt that this would be great Because we have cats,And we were under the impression that it was safe to get, since a bear was used
to sell the product on TV.
Now we are stuck the warranty saids we need to send 29.00
in order to return the bed I feel that this just wasn't a good deal as we saw advertise and now we are stuck with two beds that we will have to always patch and pump air into it.
So unfair.
Pros: Lower Price than competitors Cons: You get what you pay for
My son has some buddies that like to sleep over occasionally. They were too big for the bean bags, etc, so I looked at this company & thought it sounded like a good buy.
WRONG.. They used it once before it developed 2 leaks in the seams at the valves, a split/separation right where the hard plastic of the valve fixture meets the soft vynil of the bed. I haven't thrown it out, but I think repairs are hopeless given the location and the stress there after inflating. There are 2 different types of material,, so to bond them seems not likely.
Pros: Inflates rapidly Cons: Deflates during the night.
I wish that I had read these reviews before I paid $199.95 AUS for this Restform bed from LifeGlo.
We did exactly as the instructions said .... inflated and deflated it a number of times before using it.
During the 3 nights that we slept on it, we had to pump it up 3 times each night.
We continually rolled into the middle, which didn't match the advertising blurb, "The even distribution of air guarantees no sagging unlike many ordinary beds. Restform Raised Double Bed is designed with our exclusive stabilizer and a wide sleeping surface for optimum stability and body support."
Our bed is only 10 days old. Wish me luck when I try to get my money back from the store.
DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT by thompson621 ,Dec 28 '05
Pros: HELD ITS AIR Cons: POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, SEAMS BREAK LOOSE, POOR, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
At first, loved it. Now on both of my beds, one of the seams busted and now they're lopsided. I called customer care, who happens to be the worst customer care I've ever spoken to, and a female representative with a Southern accent told me "you're past the 90 day warranty period. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do for you" BS.
Please whatever you do, DO NOT PURCHASE THE P.O.S. PRODUCT KNOWN AS THE RESTFORM AIRBED.
no place to purchase parts by vickilitz ,Sep 10 '09
Pros: Inflates fast Cons: No place to get replacement parts.
I bought one of these beds and inflated fine but the plugs are not attached and I lost them. There is no way to get replacements. If your bed is rip or torn and you would like to send me the plugs. I will pay for s/h plus $10. Otherwise Don't buy this product. No Customer service.
I find that the advertisment is 'MISLEADING ADVERTISING'. I have seen a hell of alot of bad reviews about the TVSHOP ads. I've bought a kiyoseki straightner and only used it a few times, only to find out through the reviews that other people were having problems (no problems for me YET), even though they got their second one through warranty, that product stuffed up on them a few days later. Maybe this company needs a wakeup call. Especially for the PRICE you pay for the products
