    Cons: You could lose your best friend, my cat died.

    Pros: Protects agains fleas, heartworm, hook and round worms, and ear mites.
    Easy to apply.
    Cons: Some veterinarians require an office visit to purchase.
    Expensive.

    Pros: Easy to use, no mess, no fighting your cat to take pills.
    Cons:  A lot more expensive than separate flea/tick preventative and Ivermectin heartworm preventative
