I bought this band saw about a year ago and due to other preoccupations have not had much time using it. But however much i have used it one thing is for sure that this thing vibrates and that is not good when you are working on an important project. I still have the 3 year warranty on this but it is extremely difficult to use it. You need to carry it into their service dept. to have it serviced. I have found that the lower wheel is out of balance and shows run out of like .018" and so does the pulley attached to it. You can actually see the two things wobbling. I don't have means to carry it around to their shop and would have loved to return it within the 90 day period.But I regret I missed that chance. So I am stuck with it. Even beginners should stay away from it. Buy once and buy a good machine. buy Rigid if you consider yourself a Hercules.
