If you have read the book The Horse Whisperer, you will simply love this book!

I found myself never wanting to put this book down as I watched this story of a divorced mother and her troubled daughter return to her roots to start over fresh. Returning to her past brings up old wounds never really healed as well as old friendships that never really died.

You feel the frustration of Annemarie as she tries to pull her life together for both her and her daughter. The lessons that they learn as they both set out in life one more time and the bond that brings them even closer together is very touching.

And, yes, there are horses too!! You will get plenty of horse attention action in this book as well....so don't think it's all about troubled moms and daughters!

When I read this book I was constantly wondering what might happen next. There are a lot of great twists and turns in the story. It's a great book for horse lovers. I wish there were more books out there like this (or maybe I need to look a little harder).
I would recommend it to any one who loves animals, especially horses.
