Pros: Inexpensive, works just as well as the name brands. Cons: Needs to be replaced often [just like all hydrogen peroxide products].

Pros: OK for cuts/scrapes. Great for blood stain removal and other stuff. Cons: Docs now suggest using ointments rather than the old bubbly.
I dont recall a time when Ive not had a brown bottle of hydrogen peroxide around from childhood through today. Mom always kept it around for scratches and scrapes, and Granny swore by it as a mouth swish for good breath and to cut down on ...

by lyuba ,Apr 28 '06
Pros: Works well Cons: None
Like everybody else, I get little accidents where I have to use hydrogen peroxide. Since to me, it doesn't really matter what brand it is, I buy the cheapest one. Rite Aid Hydrogen Peroxide Solution is the best for it, it's cheap and it works as well as the brand ones. It doesn't hurt when you apply it on a cut, it might smell a little. But it fades away quickly.

Great Oral Rinse!
by ninjamommy ,Jul 19 '07
Pros: Inexpensive and works Cons: Foamy mouth. But can be eliminated by rinsing with water shortly after.
I received an email stating all the wonderful uses for hydrogen peroxide. One of the "remedies" was to use one capful of peroxide and one capful of water to rinse after brushing your teeth (I do two to three times per day). It works great! Your teeth start to look whiter, your mouth feels clean, you wont wake up with morning breath! I don't have a preferred brand. Any hydrogen peroxide will do.
