I bought this griddle figuring it would last me a long time (cause it wasn't a "cheapy" and we use a griddle daily) I have purchased cheap ones $20-$30 range that held up just as long as this one did.  Within the first 2 months one of the clips broke that hold the tray down.  There is a plastic piece inside the handle the just broke.  Its still usable but a bit more challenging to get the griddle surface off to clean.  The non-stick surface is lifting and coming off now. It started bubbling from underneath the non-stick surface.  It was washed either by hand (by me ) or in the dishwasher so I know it wasn't abused with  improper scouring
