Pros: PROS: Attractive looking, and pan comes off of electrical apparatus portion for serving/cleaning. Cons: CONS: Thermostat issues, not level, uneven heating, surface is bad(getting uneven after 1 use).
Summary: This product won't heat in timely manner (takes forever), as a Rival is a embarrassment, and resembles a crock pot more than an electric skillet. I plan to abandon trying stirfry dinners (as this evening was the first time to try the pan after the ...

Pros: Size of cooking area, design of heating coils. Cons: Waste of money. Doesn't work & finish is almost gone after 12 or less uses.
Summary: My daughter bought this Rival non-stick electric skillet for me because I had remarked that I liked the design, so she saw it on sale one day and bought it home. That's about all that's great about it. The only way I can get enough heat to cook ...

Pros: Large cooking surface and skillet is removable from base to clean. Cons: Thermostat is faulty. Non stick coating is exceptionally easy to scratch.
Summary: I purchased this Rival S16RB Non Stick Electric Skillet because of its large size and the abilty to remove the skillet from the base to clean. At the first use, I noticed that the temperature never seemed to rise above a "warm"

Pros: Looks like a great idea. Cons: Terrible heating element. Turns off in the middle of heating!
Summary: We can't even get this to heat evenly enough to brown ground beef! Bought it because it looked like a great design. Alas, it doesn't

Pros: Large pan size, simmers better than many other skillets. Cons: Pan isn't flat, non-stick covering doesn't last.
Summary: I bought this skillet about 2 years ago because of the nice-looking design, large pan area and the fact that the pan comes off the base for easier cleaning. The pan needs to be carefully seated onto the base in order for it to heat correctly

Pros: Gets hot enough to cook Cons: Non stick feature is a joke.
Summary: Bought this skillet to replace my trusty old one that I forget the name of, but it served me well. The "non-stick" feature of this skillet worked for about a week. Food sticks to this thing now worse than any pan I have, non-stick or otherwise.

Pros: skillet top comes off for easy cleaning Cons: non-stick coating is crap. comes off after a few uses!
Summary: My mom got this skillet to replace the one she'd had for over 15 years. Boy, have times -- and quality! -- changed. This skillet stinks! the non-stick coating in nearly gone after less than 20 uses. it actually flakes off onto our much-loved

Pros: Pan comes off of stand for cleaning ease Cons: Too many to list!!! Awful pan, worst on the market!
Summary: This is without a doubt the worst pan I've ever had. I had already decided never to buy a Rival frying pan again but my son and his wife gave this one to me for Mother's Day. After on week of use the bottom has already begun flaking off. You can't fry

Pros: None Cons: Blistering non-stick coating and uneven cooking.
Summary: After only using it a few times, the non-stick coating blistered in places and came off in the food. I wrote Rival two months ago and still havent heard back. Also, it has hot spots and doesn't cook evenly

Pros: None Cons: Food sticks, heats uneven, pan warped
Summary: Very disappointing purchase, not up to the standards I've come to expect from Rival. Food sticks, heating is uneven, thermostat is useless, now the bottom has begun to buckle (certainly not due to high heat!). Might make an interesting flower

Pros: This product has been designed to be easy to handle and pleasant to look at. Cons: The product does not perform as advertised. Non-stick coating sticks after only a few uses.
Summary: We purchased this product based on looks and price alone. We liked the idea that the pan was removable from the heating element making it easy to clean. However, the first time we used it we noticed the pan did not heat sufficiently to fry steaks or

Pros: DID NOT WORK PROPERLY, THEREFORE NO PROS. Cons: POOR OR NO HIGH TEMP...VERY LOW FOR COOKING.
Summary: Bought this in anticipation of a Friday Perch Fish Fry I was hosting...10 people, so lots of Perch to cook. Set pan to 375 degrees (most recipes recommended). Waited 10 minutes, put fish in and they barely started to cook...then turned up to max (400

Pros: Large cooking area; clear lid. Cons: Pan floor warps dramatically when heated; uneven heating (hot spots); flimsy construction.
Summary: Our first impression was that the skillet looked great. Good size; purposeful handles on each side, clear lid. We wasted no time in whipping up some pancake batter and I fired up the skillet. Once it had warmed up to the correct temperature (which was

Pros: Good Design Cons: Crappy non-stick coating.
Summary: We bought this skillet 10 days ago at Walmart and loved it at first but now after only ten days and approximately 5 uses (using only plastic utensils) the non stick coating is already coming off. Unfortunately we lost the bill and threw away the box
