Pros: easy to use, cleans up well, dishwasher safe lid and stoneware Cons: none that I have found.
One of the great things about being a mom is that when your kids grow up they will sometimes get you a really nice gift as an adult. Mind you, the gifts that my children have gotten me over the years have all been great! Especially the ones they made ...

the lid
by undisputed ,Dec 28 '08
Pros: Cooks wonderfully nice appearance. Love the removable crock. Cons: Lid broke have looked 2 years for a replacement, still don't have one.
I love this crockpot! Only problem is half the lid handle broke off. When we tried to take off the other half the lid shattered for no apparent reason - it was not hot or cold- anyway now cannot find a replacement lid- have went to lots of websites noone has one for that model. Also noticed LOTS of others have the same problem.

I love this crockpot...but....
by clrc58 ,Feb 25 '09
Pros: Size, dishwasher ready Cons: Hairline fracture around entire bottom of stoneware due to high setting.
I love this crockpot, but in two months time, I went through two of them. The first one: I noticed some food droppings burning on the heating element. That made me look closer at the stoneware to see a hairline crack all the way around the bottom and even a piece missing. Because I liked it so much, I went and exchanged it for the exact same thing. The second one: After less than a month, it's also got a hairline crack all the way around the bottom.
Maybe if you NEVER use the high setting, it won't do this.
