Pros: A great robot for the price, does better than robots that cost more, excellent support
Cons: Limited programming capacity, no retention, needs a "Random" mode to emulate autonomy.

Summary: A lot of people will spend a lot of time and money to buy a dog and train it to do tricks and obey commands so it behaves just like a robot. It doesn't always work out, as the animal control center in my city is full of unwanted dogs. I say, if you ... read more

  • Incredible technology, but lackluster novelty!

    Jul 21, 2005 by

Pros: NASA-based applied biomorphic robotics (human-like movement), fun pre-installed demo modes, batteries last forever, fully programmable.
Cons: Novelty wears off quickly, audio noises (grunts) become annoying, and just got bored with it.

Summary: When I first read about the Robosapien and the new "applied biomorphic robotics" technology that was utilized in its design, I knew I had to have one. When I received it in the mail (ordered from, I set it up immediately. Robosapien is ... read more
