Pros: Timesaving, quieter than a regular vac, easy to use Cons: Frequent maintenance, doesn't always go where you want it to
I purchased my Rooma about one month ago. I had just gotten done vacuuming the whole house and was tired and sweaty when my husband called my name from the other room. The Home Shopping Network was advertising the Roomba and I was in just the right mood...

Pros: Cute, does the job more than adequately, doesn't require much attention. Cons: Doesn't do liquids, has trouble with thick carpet, Virtual Wall unit requires 2 D batteries.
I like the way the developers of Roomba think. Take some menial chore that everyone hates to do and make technology to do it for us. That's what every technology applications inventor/developer should be aiming for. A merely cool idea that does ...

Pros: Gets the job done Cons: Not sure about long term durability
Well we finally gave up on thick carpet in our home when we completed some recent construction work. It is now hardwood floors throughout. Vacuuming carpets was always a pain, and it was not going to be any easier with the new hardwood floors, but I...

Pros: Fun to watch, great timesaver. Cleans where you wouldn't. Cons: Takes too long to charge
I'm posting this review to tell all the skeptics that this thing really does work. It has it's quirks, but once you learn them and learn to deal with them, you really can let the Roomba loose in a room and when you come back a couple hours later, it's...

Pros: Cleans places I don't, entertaining to watch Cons: Gets stuck too often, low "dirt" capacity, broke within a week
The prospect of a robot vacuum cleaner sounds great. Think Rosy from the Jetsons. We have a toddler who crawls all over the place, and keeping the floors clean enough is a challenge. Roomba sounded like the perfect answer. Oh, we also have 3 cats...

Pros: VERY cool, cleans good, small, very intelligent. Cons: small dirt holder
I turn on the tv, look on the screen, and I see a little machine running across the floor. So I start watching and I later find out that the machine is called a Roomba. The first robotic vacuum cleaner for less than a million dollars. well, ok, A LOT...

Pros: Cleans better than I do Cons: Does not talk
Roomba, the floor cleaner. That's why I bought it. The battery needs to be charged before you use it. Twelve hours. Grrr... When will someone finally be intelligent enough to deliver batteries that are fully charged? Ask a dollar more if you must! A ...

Pros: Efficient, vacuums by itself, smart vacuum, quiet enough to vacuum at night Cons: dust bin is small and should be cleaned after each room vacuumed
I love my Roomba. When I first bought this vacuum, I wasn't sure whether I would get my moneys worth. It had great reviews on epinions, but I was still a little skeptical. When I first started to use the Roomba, I was relieved and amazed at how well ...

Pros: Simple to set up; excellent on linoleum floors. Cons: Struggles on medium ply carpet.
After more than a month of research I decided to take the plunge and purchase the Roomba Intelligent FloorVac Vacuum. I got mine at Linen’s and Things for $200.00; sure enough, within a week I noticed a 20 percent off coupon in my newspaper. Drat. But ...

Pros: Keeps carpet nice, really cleans, gets in "never vaccumed places", A+ on hardwood/tiled floors. Cons: doesn't get every-single-thing, need more virtual wall units
I have to admit, I really wanted one of these..Does it work? Is it any good? These were all questions I had...I got one for my birthday. Saved me $200 I would've spent but not been thrilled to spend, although very excited. Opening up the box was rea ...

Pros: Very thorough, easy to use, fun to watch. Terrific conversation piece. Cons: Needs emptying after each use; thorough, but slow; 12 hours to recharge.
This is quite a neat gadget. I bought mine completely on impulse, after going through my junk mail and seeing an ad for Roomba at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. The ad came with a 20% off coupon for any item in the store, effectively lowering the price to...

Pros: Affordable, surprisingly effective, entertaining, convenient Cons: "Virtual wall" unit is not rechargeable, no docking station
ROOMBA
You may have noticed: there are no flying cars. A fan of popular culture, transported from the 1950s to today, would be shocked and disappointed that, 50 years later, we're still driving internal-combustion cars that don't...

Pros: Works as advertised Cons: A poor choice for carpet
We have had our Roomba for about a month now, and I must say we are truly impressed how well the thing actually works. For in between cleaning on tile and hardwood Roomba does a perfectly satisfactory job at keeping things swept and dust-free. To test...
