  • Soft yes, lacks performance.

    Mar 07 '03
Pros: Easy to put on and carry
Cons: Too soft for any serious skiing

Summary: I recently purchased a pair of these boots for a great price. I was intrigued with the concept and couldn’t find any to demo. So I purchased the pair. They felt comfortable in the shop and were fitted well by the shop. So off I hit the slopes and ... read more

  • Not soft at all

    Jan 29 '03
    Pros: Soft
Cons: Cuts off blood supply to feet

Summary: Rossignol soft boots are lovely to look at, but they are not all they are cracked up to be. I found them to be initially comfortable in the ski shop, but once on the hill, all circulation to the foot was cut off and my foot went completely and ... read more

  • Terrible, POOR Quality Boot

    Jan 15 '09
    Pros: Comfortable
    Decent Price
    Cons: TERRIBLE construction: see above
    No confidence in this boot

Summary: These boots are terrible.  I have worn them a total of 10 times and the straps broke on both sides, the screw holding a clip came off during a super fast GS type turn and I went head first into a snow bank.  I can't say enough about how bad the

    Pros: Attractive and warm
Cons: uncomfortable for the the first 30 minutes or so each day of use.

Summary: After using these boots for 6 straight days in Colorado (January 2005) I have the following comments: *Uncomfortable for the first 30 minutes - Then they feel great for the rest of the day! *Plenty of support- I have weak ankles and almost did not go

  • Waaaaaay too soft! Comfort for the groomers only!

    Mar 11 '04
Pros: Comfort (otherwise why would they exist), easy on and off.
Cons: No matter how much you tighten them they alway feel like your feet slide around.

Summary: Bought the mens soft when they first came out. Initially, it was very comfortable after several attempts by the shop to adjust the footbeds properly. Skied 22 days on them in 2002-2003 and 15 this season. I think they are good for groomer type skiing,

  • Rossignol Soft Boot

    Jan 11 '04
Pros: Look sexy on the ski lift, easy entry.
Cons: No support, will not transfer power to ski, not any warmer.

Summary: I bought these because I have very cold feet. The Rossignol factory rep (at the Portland, Oregon Ski Show) assured me that they would be much, much warmer than other boots and offered comparable performance. He "guaranteed" I would like them and
