I have been user of Roxio products for several years. I used Roxiod DVD Creator 6.0 for over year and a half. I make a lot of DVD/movie/slide shows for friends and family. This product is terrible. I tried for over one month to learn the convoluted interface. They changed the interface 100% from Ver. 6.0 so you have to learn everything all over and they dropped several of the great features of Ver. 6.0 This product is a "bundled" bunch of little products put together by Roxio. They must have dropped the sub-company that made DVD CREATOR Ver. 6.0 and hired new company to create brand new interface. I wasted $99 on this product. Roxio was US company that was bought out by Canadian company. I don't know who screwed up, but the DVD creation portion of this software is horrible. Do not buy it. Save your $99 because after you see it is bad, like me, you'll end up spending more money to replace it.

Pros: DVD Builder 7 is very intuitive to use.
Cons: It doesn't work and it's slow.

Be wary of this product. I bought this product on 6/11/05 and installed it on a new computer. Had to update online to the latest release because it is buggy out of the box. Next, though, I tried to burn a DVD with it, and it failed every time. Even after I updated the firmware on my DVD writer (Toshiba SD-R5372 version TU55), it still failed.

Repeated attempts to get Roxio to respond to my support inquiries have failed. They have not helped, their chat service always directs me to the software update page, which is not relevant.

This new computer is a 3.5Ghz P4 with 2GB of RAM. Not only does the software not work on it, but it is SLOW. My hard drives are SATA100 10K RPM drives. There is no reason for this poor quality of software today.

Pros: None, it does not work.
Cons: Complete failure.

DO NOT BUY! DVD BUILDER and VIDEOWAVE 7, which are part of EASY MEDIA CREATOR 7.5, all do not work. They all blow up with the Microsoft "encountered a problem" windows about 5 seconds after initiation.

I keep my Windows Media Center Edition 2005 updated via Windows Update all of the time. I have used computers for over 25 years. I am not going to spend hours changing my PC configurations and turning off commonly used memory resident programs when all of my other software works fine!

I bought this product because the box indicates that it will work with Windows Media Center DVR-MS files, but it does not work at all. I use Norton Firewall and anti-virus, and common anti-spyware. I have never had a virus, spyware, worm, or anything like that. I do not use instant messengers or any unusual software. How much simpler can my HP Media Center Edition PC be than this?

This is just terrible quality control and lack of testing by Roxio. Buyer beware!
