Pros: Have a rubber coating in case you drop it on your toe.
Cons: un reliable. Do not work well in cold temps. Warranty difficult o exercise.

Summary: Whoever wrote the review praising the virtue of these batteries must work for Ryobi marketing. I have owned several of these batteries as I have many 18V R tools which I used to run on NiCads. I could go on how bad their Nicads are but they are cheap ... read more

P103 are better than P104

Pros: Batteries individually are Ok . Lithium Batteries are better than Nickel Cadmium
Cons: Very hard to repair and too risky.

Summary: Do not buy P104 .They don't work as good as P103. I'm a Professional Electrical Engineer. I found that due to the charge monitor included in P104 it could fail sending a false signal to the charger and not allowing the charger to work properly. The p103
