  • A wonderful addition to my Ryobi 18V tool collection

Pros: Cordless, easy blade changing, relatively lighter and quieter than what I was using previously
Cons: I think the lighter weight transmits more vibration to the user

Summary: I got this as part of a combo kit. It seems that you get much more value when you purchase it this way. Compared to a corded Sawzall I believe that this Ryobi cordless saw does everything that I need it to and with greater ease. One of the ... read more

Pros: small, battery powered, handy to have around
    Cons: not for professional use

Summary: Let's face it- this came with a lot of other tools and was sort of thrown on us because of this... but I like it and I use it frequently. I didn't need this when we got it. I purchased my husband the 'set' as talked about in the other review. It's a ... read more

Pros: Well balanced, one charge lasts long enough for most projects. Great for yard work.
Cons: Somewhat cumbersome safety lock feature that often requires two hands to operate.

Summary: This saber saw is part of an excellent team of Ryobi products that share an 18 volt battery. Once you have used 18 volt packs, you will never go back to anything less. This saw has plenty of juice to work all day on intermittent duty. Recharge is ... read more

  • Great for little jobs

Pros: Small but powerful. Nice to have cordless.
    Cons: Shorter battery life.

Summary: I bought this saw as part of a larger Ryobi tool set which my wife bought for me when we purchased our home. Having a sawzall, a skil-saw, an electric drill, and various other tools became a necessity. Since I am a desk-jockey, and spend 99.9% of my ... read more
