Pros: Sturdy, easy to use, versatile, precision settings. Cons: I didn't get it as cheaply as PWeisenberg did. (Sniff!)
Summary: I bought the Ryobi 12 volt cordless drill a year ago for home handyman type work, both indoors and outdoors. I'm jealous of PWeisenberg, because he got his for $79 when I paid $99 for mine at Home Depot. Since it included two high quality batteries, ... read more

Pros: Bargain price; 2 speed ranges; 23 position clutch;fast charge battery; extra battery Cons: body a little bulky; hard to tell if it's in reverse by looking;no trigger lock.
Summary: I didn't need a cordless drill when I bought it but I really wanted the portability. I've had no trouble finding uses for it. I particularly like the two speed ranges. Select 1 for more control at a slower speed and 2 for flat out speed. The tool is well ... read more

Pros: Power, Speed, Battery life Cons: Weight, Too fast
Summary: This drill is very powerful, and the top speed is phenomenal for screwing and unscrewing. I feel like a Indy Pit mechanic changing bolts on a tire when I use this thing. I haven't had a chance to drill with this model, but i did do a lot of drilling ... read more

Pros: Powerful, tough, versatile, excellent all around tool Cons: None
Summary: This is the third screw gun I have owned in 7 years and it performs far and away better than the other two. My first was a small Black&Decker which I received as a gift and the second a hand-me-down Makita. I wore both of them out with my usual level ... read more

Pros: Very good choice for anything less than contractor grade. Cons: Batteries could last longer
Summary: This 12 volt Ryobi is one killer deal. It sells for 79.99 on sale at Home Depot and look what you get; 1 Drill, 2 rechargable batteries, 1 fast battery charger, and a hard carrying case with room for drill/screw bits. The performance has been flawless ... read more

Pros: Good cost to value ratio. It performs well. Cons: Battery run time shorter than some other 12v models/brands.
Summary: After reading some of the other reviews here (both pro and con) I think there might be some confusion about the model being reviewed here. We are talking about the model CTH 1202. If you paid about $79 bucks for that drill (unless it's a rebuilt or some ... read more

Pros: no slip grip Cons: needs more speed
Summary: I don't even remember if I have a corded drill. Between this and my Dremel I can do almost anything.
I love the feel of the no-slip surface, and the keyless chuck is great. I have enough things to keep track of.
The only time I have had ... read more

Pros: Cheap Cons: Under Powered for a 12 volt drill
Summary: I purchased this drill two years ago at Menards after my Black and Decker cordless drill was stolen from my garage. The Ryobi was only $79.00 so I should have known that it was too good to be true.
I like the fact that the kit comes with two ... read more
