Pros: Sleek design. Rugged external components. That's about it.
Cons: Easy to fill the spool with line. Attractive, rugged appearance.

Well, it looks nice ... and it will serve you well for a year. But this trimmer is LOUD, VIBRATES EXCESSIVELY, and has problems with dispensing the line. It will often dispense too much line - causing it to wrap around the head and shaft . . . or, it will bind up inside the spool and pull it all the way in - forcing you to take the spool head off.

It's also a heavy trimmer that will give you a good workout.

The air cleaner is cheap. And the fuel lines and primer bulb on Ryobis rot fairly quickly.

I'll never get another Ryobi product. Companies in foreign countries make these products and Ryobi slaps their name on 'em. A manner of business that I strongly oppose.
