ThinkPad 390-X (2626LNU)
by texrodeo1 ,Jan 09 '08
Pros: Ease of use, reliable, never an error, Runs well for the Price and Hardware Specs. Cons: gets really hot underneath, No DVD or CD R/RW.
I purchased this system at a local goodwill store for $100. It had the standard 12GB HDD and 64 MB RAM with Windows'98. I have done some upgrades to it. I added a 40GB HDD, 384MB RAM and installed Windows XP Professional and a very nice software package and it runs it like a top. There is No Lag what so ever. This system runs very well for what it is and I an so far very Happy for a $100 and some upgrades of parts on hand.
