I bought an Epson Stylus Photo 700 in Oct of 1998. It is now March of 2000.

#1 - Started printing with WAY too much ink. Epson replaced it.
#2 - Just died. Not lights, no sounds. Epson replaced it.
#3 - Head slams in the side twice...

My family bought this printer at a local computer shop after they showed us what it could do, and everyone on this website seems to say it prints excellent pictures. However, I have yet to figure out how to print clear pictures with it. All of the pictures I print from Paint Shop Pro are blurry or even pixely even though they look crystal clear on the screen. I don't know if it's an issue with that program or the printer. The clipart from my old old program Printmaster Gold looks excellent and sharp, but I can't get regular pictures to work for me. Also, I don't print things all the time, and this printer really annoys me because it always gets clogged up and I have to tell it to clean itself(which wastes more of the expensive ink). I figure the stores will quit carrying this ink cartridge pretty soon since the printer is getting older.
