eBay has these for less than $100 loaded. With a 128 MB CF card, you can use this handy device to synch your office desktop and home computers for Outlook, MS Money, and many other similar apps. A good color screen and a host of available third party programs (get Bubblets!) make this a cheap alternative to expensive palmtops. After over two years, mine has never let me down. A replacement battery is less than $30 on the 'Net.

I paid a lot of money for one a year ago for my wife who used her Palm regularly. This PDA has more problems than any other electronic device I have ever owned. It looses data, the battery runs out, it won't sync properly, it lacks a multi-direction pointer, it just overall sucks. HP shouldn't even give them away because they aren't worth the frustration. If you find one cheap, don't buy it.

Would have liked to have seen a better learning information. At first had a great dificullty running programs and losing lots of information,in other words had to learn from lots of mistake. On the positive side I am very happy with it now, that I have learned more on it. Would recommed this product to friends, and co-workers.

I absolutely love my Jornada and for the money it is a good buy. The only drawback at this point is that you will only get the Windows CE operating system burned into it and it is not upgradeable to Windows 2002. Otherwise it is my righthand gadget, the calendar reminds you of anything you schedule, you can voice record short notes, calculator, record tons of phone #'s & contacts, you can beam info with other units, comes with some useful programs like Pocket Word,Excel,Money and you can buy more to load. My unit machine cames with 32MB of memory but it has a Flash Memory Card slot so the sky is the limit as far as what you want to load. Of course my favorite thing to do is to read my e-books on it and I've stored almost 200 books on a 128mb Flashcard and it is only half full. The battery seems ok to me but I need to charge everyday because it consumes more power when data is stored on the Flashcards.
