Pros: Does it all! Small, not particularly loud compared to similar units. Cons: Driver issues; You might want to avoid this if you have a Compaq computer
I can't be certain, but I think I purchased this unit late in 2000, perhaps Autumn... Price then was $250, but I see it is now available for half that.
I should point out for starters that I use this unit only at home... The most demanding...
Pros: Cheap. Versatile. Reliable in a sense. Cons: Scans are streaked. Terrible warranty service. Broke down after 18 months.
Never did work on one computer; had to use it with the other one. Software conflicts and malfunctions require constant reboots. Now, 18 months after buying, paper feeds crooked and then jams, and I have to replace it.
