Your Music Has Met Its Match: MusicMatch Jukebox 7.2

by unheimlich Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Jul 06 '02
Pros: Comes with EVERYTHING you'd ever need to be a master mp3 deejay.
Cons: Gets a little bloated with each new release.
If you think WinAmp is all there is to mp3, then you're in a rut.

There are LOTS of mp3 players out there. If you want a free one, I recommend Sonique (and you can read my review of it here on Epinions). But if you're ready to upgrade and...

Essential MP3 Tool

by Turin , Aug 15 '01
Pros: Rips MP3's at any bitrate. Automatically tags (ID3 v1 and 2) Auto Sorts files
Cons: Don't bother trying to use the create cd function of this software.

Pros: Full featured ; Skinnable
Cons: Bloat, Bloat, Bloat ; Program doesn't obey your installation instructions; Irritating "feature" (see below).

Features: The question is, what can't this program do? It plays MP3s and most...

A Jukebox for the computing age!

by cassini , Apr 24 '02
Pros: Everything you will ever want in a music program
Cons: Sometimes it's too much - you can't choose what to load and what to not
Musicmatch is the ultimate computer jukebox program. Think Winamp, with a plugin for organising your library, a plugin for analysing the songs you play, and recommend artists, albums and songs, another for CD-burning, transferring files to your portable...

The best media player

by krabople , Oct 06 '01
Pros: Easy to use, many functions, converts mp3 to wav.
Cons: Is very slow on old PCs.
For ages after buying a PC, the only media player I ever bothered to use was Realplayer. It played my cds, as well as any mp3s I happened to download. What more could a media player do?

Then somebody introduced me to Musicmatch. I never...
