Pros: Fast and great resolution Cons: Took a little longer to install
For many of you that know me, you will probably wonder why I purchased this HP printer. I am the cheapest of cheap when it comes to buying printers, and normally use them only until the cartridge is empty, and then sell them on e-bay. My last one was a...
Pros: Print quality, speed, not really expensive Cons: None.
My old printer, and I do mean old, decided to quit on me right in the middle of printing pictures out for my daughter's school project. Luckily we still had a few more days before the project was due, so we were able to borrow a printer from one of the...
Pros: Fast PPM output, great DPI for color, 2-sided printing (optional). Cons: Printer cable not included.
The HP Deskjet 960cxi printer is an excellent choice for the basic home office user. After suffering through endless printers that had very slow pages per minute (PPM) output, I was initially drawn to the HP Deskjet 960cxi because it offered 15 PPM in...
Pros: Decent PPM, quality color, parallel or USB capable, nice options Cons: After one paper jam things got very, very bad
It was a love affair that went tragically wrong far too soon. His specs were impressive; he boasted 12 pages per minute in color, 15 per minute monochrome. He seemed flexible, claiming that he was willing to work with either Windows or a Mac, and...
Pros: Great print quality, laser-like speeds, low cost printer consumables. Cons: Still high cost, no duplexer, no infrared port, see cons in review
I wrote a review on the 960Cse printer recently, epinions decided to put up both versions of the 960... the other being the Cxi model. The Cxi model is really the same printer with different included software than the Cse version. A MSRP of $299 and...
Pros: A very fast printer with brilliant photo quality. Cons: Takes a while to set up.
Swish, swish and clunk, that all the noise I get from printing on my HP 960cxi. It seems to just shoot out paper without any noise at all, and yet the quality I get from it is amazing!!!
I bought this as a replacement for my Epson 777, hoping...
Pros: Fast, high-quality output at an affordable rate! Cons: The software can sometimes be a cumbersome install.
High speed printing in an ink-jet printer is definitely what I’ve come to expect with most of the medium to high-range HP printers. This printer delivers just that and much more! With speeds of up to 15 pages per minute in black and up to 12 pages per...
Pros: Good speed. Good photo quality color output. Cons: Higher cost consumables compared to laser.
About a half a year ago I picked up a HP 960 at Circuit City for just under $300. Yesterday at the same store I convinced a friend to get one with the new computer he was buying. The 960 cost him $180.
Pros: Great printing speeds both B&W/Color. Crisp photo quality Cons: Difficult to install USB drivers.
After my old printer a Canon died on me I was first think about replacing it with a Canon. I am a student and the ink for the Canon was cheap. However I looked at some stats about the HP printers and I discovered that in the long run HP printer ink is...
Pros: Fast printing, Excellent quality, Quiet and Great Price Cons: Prints crooked, No 800# tech support
I researched and I tested what seems like a zillion printers before I finally decided on the HP 960Cxi. I had a 4 year old Epson Photo Stylus 700 that was very noisy and just gobbled ink like crazy. I was wanting to get rid of it for a while but waited...
Pros: Fantastic Color Photo Printing, Auto-paper sensor, Fast Printing Cons: High volume feed problem
Digital Photo Printing for real!
I was an avid amateur photographer, dark room and all. I did some color printing as well. I never would have been able to achieve the results I got last night with this printer.
Pros: Great quality printing for everyday printjobs and photos. Cons: None yet
I have been looking around for a while for a good printer to print good quality photos. I had a compaq IJ600 prior and really didn't have any major problems with it. I just wanted something faster and more accurate. After shopping around I decided...
Pros: Excellent quality, fast, and reliable. You have to get this printer! Cons: None
The HP deskjet 960 is a wonderful printer. I am an advertising/PR major and the printer works wonders for my many, many projects. It is fast, and it has magnificant quality. I highly recomend it to students, people in business, and people who just...
Have been using HP Deskjet 870cse for several years. quite satisfied with it but considering what I paid at the time this model is miles ahead of my old printer. Especially going to LOVE THE AUTO PAPER TYPE SELECTION. Won't have to change paper type in printer properties all the time. I have a couple of programs that like to leave properties changed for other programs. It's such a pain to start printing a spread sheet only to find out that theprinter will take forever because properties were reset to photo paper or transparencies........
And the photos actually look like photos....this thing is going to have me spoiled.
This printer has nice resolution,... by hithere_dt3000 ,Feb 10 '03
This printer has nice resolution, however it is very touchy. The print tray no longer slides when replacing paper, so I have to just slide the paper in on top of it. The printer has jammed several times, and fixing it was no easy task. I have had other printers that have worked, and I just don't think this was designed very well.
