Pros: Ergonomic Support, Deep REM Sleep, Quality Construction Cons: It needs a solid platform support
I highly recommend the SAM (Self Adjusting Mattress). It has given me the most restful sleep I have ever had. In my opinion it's the best mattress made. I first ordered the mattress and then I called to cancel it the next day after I read some of the ...

Pros: If you want an extremely hard mattress, this might work for you. Cons: Product arrived late, and was unhappy with mattress, and had problems returning it.
The worst consumer decision I have ever made was to buy the SAM bed from Kevin at Comfort Direct for $1,500. I filed a complaint with the NY Attorney General's Office in June, but am still awaiting a response. This may help you with your decision- I ...

Pros: All - Bed I'd had directly prior cost $2200.00, A Sierra Mist. Cons: NONE
I also own a SAM mattress, and have for several years now. It is the ONLY bed I've ever been able to sleep on WITHOUT shoulder or hip pain (I'm a side sleeper). A lot of the people writing these negative reviews sound like they don't realize a few ...

Pros: They figured out the right technology and then got it right. Cons: No catchy phrase
We have had a king size Direct Comfort (SAM/SAT) bed for over 4 years now and would not trade it for any amount of money! I spent 6 months researching various bed designs before deciding to purchase the SAM/SAT sight-unseen/untouched/unsat/u
nslept

Pros: Wool topper, adjustability, decently made Cons: The company that manufactures and sells the bed, uncomfortable (to me)
NOTE: This bed is now called "SAT" and NOT "SAM" I am a chiropractic physician and acupuncturist. Backs are a big part of my life, and the importance of a quality mattress has not escaped my attention. I feel compelled to write a review of this bed ...

Pros: Clever design Cons: Not comfortable for me, and the owner makes it nearly impossible to return.
I am trying to return my mattress because it is uncomfortable. I will say that the bed is well-made and does what is says it will do, i.e., adjust based upon the weight applied to an individual area. However, I find the bed to be very uncomfortable. ...

Pros: Better, sounder sleep. Less tossing. Much less body aches! Not affected by partners movements. Cons: need to get used to firmness at first.Should come with manual to understand it better

Pros: Supportive, decent construction, comfortable, balances weight perfectly Comfort dial does NOT effect balance(good). Cons: Dishonest sales. Claim bbb membership http://www.satbed.com/sat-mattress.php but membership was terminated http://www.trenton.bbb.org/nis/newsearch2.asp?ID=1&ComID=0221000011005165
Most of us don't expect to talk to the owner of a company when purchasing a bed. But, when we do we like a straight forward person and no shady salesmanship. With COMFORT DIRECT(aka SATBED.com) You can be assured that even if your product is up to ...

Pros: We think we got what we wanted. Cons: After 5 years, the padding is 'dented', fixable, with the mattress care instruictions.
Have had a Self Adjusting Mattress for over 7 years, and still think it was money not foolishly spent. It took several nights to get used to it and some experimenting to find just the right firmness settings. This Mattress ...
